From North to South across the Alps
This PilotsEYE.tv flight adventure takes an Austrian Airlines A321-212 over the entire east-west route of the Alps from Vienna to Barcelona. Airbus chief pilot Hans Klikovich and his co-pilot Conny Ollinger fly the passengers of the OS 397 - thanks to holidays and "helpful air traffic controllers - at a particularly low altitude (7000m) from Vienna directly over the Alpine chain: Grossglockner, Zugspitze, Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and then along the Côte dAzur directly to Barcelona. Even a detour via Italy is approved by air traffic control at short notice "due to sightseeing reasons". A treat for flight and mountain lovers.

The lower then normal altitude view of the Alps from above 5 countries is just fantastic and breathtaking!
Just amazing ... to listen to the polite ..professional exchange between cockpit crew and the ATC controllers [from 5 different countries]

The captain of this flight is such a lively, interesting guy. He seems to have climbed to the top of every single one of the mountains they flew over! This was a very interesting video.
PilotsEye, make more videos guys, all of your videos are just fantastic. Would love to see more Boeing and smaller aircraft videos too, and maybe some longer videos i.e. 3-4hours with technical details for aspiring pilots :)

Honestly, IDC about subtitles. I don't speak German, but god do I love listening to it.

You are right! We have learned, that it is better to cover the whole conversation in the subtitles.
Therefore, we have switched to "full subtitles" since 2011, i.E. Los Angeles and Shanghai as well as all films in the future.

MelihAlex Das liegt daran, dass das eine recht alte A321 ist, da waren die GPWS sounds noch so "komisch" diese gefallen mir zwar besser, als die neuen, aber jedem das seine :) Mit der Airline hat das EGPWS allerdings nicht zu tun, nur mit dem Hersteller des jeweiligen Flugzeugs..
Warum zieht die Copilotin bei 2:17 die Schubhebel in Reverse !!!! das is ein fehler!!

I'm surprised you got the aircraft wrong in the titles! This is an A321, not an A320.

Also so schlimm ist's jetzt auch nicht. Die konnte man eigentlich ohne Probleme verstehen.

Allie Filme bieten zwei Untertitelspuren an - english und Deutsch - damit sollten auch die Österreicher verstehbar werden :-)
@FSXFriend ihr scheint euch ja echt gut mit flugzeugen auszukennen.. das sieht n blinder mit nem Krückstock dass das ein A321 und nichts anderes is -.-
