I got great a tip to not add any oil to the hair until your hair is completely dry. Doing so while your hair is still wet with lengthen the drying process.
@@KrisMcDred Yes - I should have clarified: if the purpose is to dry your hair quickly, I recommend not putting any oil on your hair. When you oil you hair, of course, it should be dampened first. I used to oil my hair as it was drying after a wash, and it would take forever to dry. (I love your videos, by the way!)

If I have medium length and semi thick locs, can I retwist and then leave clips on and let air dry throughout a day?? Is that safe to do? Or will the retwist not last?
From my personal experience, i would gently squeeze from the roots in sections down to the tip of the dreads, and leave it in the towel until it goes from dripping to just damped and air dry or use a power fan while I'm at my desk. Works wonders for me, and it most def worked super well in my fresh loc stages because my hair would have trouble staying together after a wash and hair would be all out of my dreads. I also would recommend not putting any type of oils in your hair until the whole process of the wet air is done. It will take a lot longer and sometimes can become very sticky and give your hair a weird smell.
do you have options to buy parts of your course instead of the whole thing? for example i just want to learn proper technique to crochet my own hair and would be interested in buying that class alone
I can squeeze the crap out of my dreads with 3-4 dry towels and they’re NEVER dry by this alone. Even after a warm setting with a blow dryer for 15 minutes…not dry. At most they’re still damp in the middle and the ends.

You can not oil after the curls dry, they will be damaged.

A lot of stylist would only put oil after dry and I can feel it in my scalp. I have to ask them to oil my scalp
