Nike did a perfect job on the pro versions of mercurial and tiempo.
But Phantom Gx pro is a real joke😂😂

Yeah, as someone who really wants a phantom gx I feel like it's just stupid how they decided to not give the grip knit when that's the main thing about the boot
been through both academy and pro gx's and honestly could not agree more. The pro isn't a cheaper version of the elites it's a whole new freaking boot. And you'd think since the whole thing with GX's is to have more grip they'd use a cheaper grippy material on the pros. Looking to switch mines out very soon.

No way. His take has always been that the leather made them the best. But these are synthetic
Just wore these in a game right out of the box and they are the best value for your money in the market right now. These are insanely comfortable, the synthetic leather feels great, shoe fits like a sock with a tight lockdown and very light on feet. It's an amazing football boot and unless you're playing pro (any level) or collegiately, there's no need to spend the extra $90 for the elites. Best boot I've had in a long time (I was wearing legend 9 elite before, these are just as good).
I have wide feet and went a half size up: zero problems. Toe box is wide enough, the boots feel great and perfect for wide feet. I keep seeing comments that these are too narrow but by going a half size up, these are perfection.
As a wide footed individual, this is helpful.
Are they padded for shooting? I prefer a more padded feel

Have you had sole seperation?
@dhrv7585 I have used the shoes for around 25 sessions. Sole separation has started, but not too bad so far. I think I can use it for another season.

I have a pair of these boots. The Pro version is INSANE. After broken in, the synthetic leather feels so soft and plush. I won't be paying 230 dollars for elites for these boots but instead I'll be sticking with the pro version with this model!

Just purchased the PRO version and I will be sticking with Tiempo for a long time again! Absolutely the best pro version i have ever purchased. Super lightweight compared to copa pure & even feel lighter than my mercurial vapors. NIKE nailed this version
Regarding size, I am an 8.5uk in adidas and my trainers, would I need to go up my a half size in these pros?

Wider than the mercurial vapors i fit into vapors a little more snug and these feel lot more natural and mold to your foot better!@@Ballsy853
Bois i just bought some and they are on the way. I got size 11s. I have wide feet so I usually go with adidas but I wanted to try these out. When I tried them on in the store they fight pretty well. The shoes will be at the crib in 2 days so I can update this comment on what I’ve noticed

In Jan I got the Nike phantom GX pro it was extremely horrible switching to the tempo 10 elite I can notice the huge difference I love the padding on it is more than enough it is bit wild people are moaning about it it has to be the best boat I have ever bought and I have spent $230 and $304 for boots in the past

The toe box tapered way too much for me. I wear the legend 9 elites in a size 6 uk, and the Legend 10 pro's in a 6.5uk were way too tight at the toe box, causing great discomfort. Maybe it's because of the internal padding? Id like to try the Legend 10 elites to compare

The Tiempo 7 Pro was K leather . I got a pair on ebay for $50. They can still be had fairly cheap online .

I bought these in hyper turquoise colourway and i must say the soleplate it realllyyy soft not responsive at all i can literally fold the boots in half. I previously bought the academy version of these boots and personally go for the academies the soleplate it stiff which gives responsiveness
As an owner of both, the elite has noticeably more rigid soleplate, which could be a deciding factor in itself? Pro's soleplate is way too flexible, so much so that you can bend it in half in midsole without much effort. Same goes for the insoles.
Tongue thing is definitely more comfortable in the pros though. Likewise padded sides of the pros are also nicer imo.
i have a narrow foot than most people so do u think the tiempo's would be something to even consider?
I bought these and they are comfortable out of box, I have about a half a thumb of space on my big toe and their a bit snug in the toe box for me. Should I go up a half size more or should I just try and stretch the toe box. Been struggling on finding a good cleat in the last few months.
I'm usually an 8.5 UK in Adidas, after hearing g the pro tiempo ran small I was advised to go maybe a half size up..got the pro 2 weeks ago in a 9uk and have rough half a thumb of space but still fantastic.. id prob try go half a size up pal as to have more room is better then having them too tight

Just got the elite model today ...scored a hat trick . ...lol feel super comfortable and real light and ive always used the mercurial or adidas adizeros or what ever light weight boots they haven.they didn't require no break in time felt super amazing .probably gonna stick to these boots for a while.
Hey Josh. I noticed that the Pro and the Academy versions got the same soleplate. But the Academy’s soleplate is named FG/MG, while the Pro’s is named only FG. Why is that? Does that mean that I can’t play on AG with the Pro version?
I opted for the legend tiempo 10 Academy version. It still has the microdots and fly touch lite material, but it looks more similar to the Tiempo Legend 9 than the Pro and the Elite.
I got a pair of acamedy too, but I didn't like them that much as the upper seems to be really thin and pretty easy to tear.
Does Tiempo 10 run small as well? I had the 9 half size big, but it was still a bit tight. Since the 10 is not leather, it should stretch less so im thinking going for a full size up.
@@khelgarironfist3301@ khelgarironfist3301 Since they removed the extra padding, the fit has gotten a lot better, and it's not as slim fitting as the 9; you may not need to go a full size up.

Exactly, I’ve always worn Vapors in size 10 US the same size I wear in all my shoes and the other day I tried my friends Tiempo Legend 9 Elite in size 10 US and they felt small, I couldn’t stretch out my toes fully, like if they were a 9.5
What’s interesting is that I once bought for a friend a pair of Legend 8 Academy AG in 11 US and those were definitely like an 11. so I wonder when or for what shoes Nike changed the sizing on the Tiempos.

Has anyone had issues with the boots hurting the side of your feet? I’ve worn them twice now and my feet become sore during and after the game. The length of the shoe is fine for me but the width I’m not too sure about. Do I just need to break into them?
Yes, that’s how my Vapors feel when they’re new. They’ll break in after using them for some time.

Guys I’m after a boot that has nice padding for the shooting area of the boot. I prefer a padded shooting part rather than something that’s really thin. Any recommendations? Adidas predator accuracy.3 is on my radar, how do these tiempos compare?
These are far better than the .3 Preds. For the price, I think these are an excellent choice. The Nike Premier 3 would also be worth a look, especially if you're after a more padded feel across the top of the foot.

I play in AG pitches and the rubber pellets get in my shoes if I don't have a pair with a high collar.
Do you think it will be an issue with this boot? I guess this elastic knit around the opening would be tight enough around the ankle to not allow for that.

Those pallets get in ur boot no matter what mate, I always always pmay on astro, I find there less pallets getting into my boot with the tiempo pros

Question about the Pro version...the knit on the back heel looks pretty flexible. I have an off-on mid-portion Achilles issue where the heel tabs on the back of boots press on it as they are so stiff. Is this knit super tight?

I purchased a pair of the 442 v2 & their great no weight you feel like your not wearing a boot comfortable & the shoe is so good you don’t even have to break it in only problem I’m witnessing now is the separation of the plate I’ve had them for maybe 2 months I use the boots 3 times a week so it could last you more if your using them less but I’d definitely recommend
If acc is true for this model, they most likely didn’t print it on the shoe to help customers identify which model is elite

on Canadian website they have the white ones now but still no orange. My guess is they are only releasing elites because its a Women's world Cup edition.

Just got the AG-Pro version, the studs are hard plastic, identical to Tiempo 7 and 8
Had the Tiempo 10 Pro AG for 5 weeks and the soleplate cracked. Is the soleplate on the elite models better and more reliable/durable? I love this boot but don't want it to keep buying them if the same thing is going to happen over and over again...
First of all, they should not crack after a month. I would contact Nike's warranty department and they should sort you out with a new pair. As for the material of the soleplate, the actual plastic used is technically different between the Pro and Elites. Do they actually any different though, not really. Regardless, the soleplate shouldn't crack on either of them. Sounds like a manufacturing defect on the pair that broke.

Buy the Elite if you are using it for AG. The insoles on the PRO is very bad and on hard AG you should have better insoles than this.

The Pro definitely feels more premium than the Academy, but that's not to say that the Academy is bad. Both are excellent value for money!

I definitely find the Tiempos more comfortable and I think the synthetic upper is quite a bit better. It’s definitely more leather-like than the Kings.

pro has always been like that. 70-90 is the academy version which is also p solid. the ones below that (Club for $50) are usually trash tho

I wear them on turf. The conical studs on the front of Tiempos do fine for me on synthetic surfaces. They aren't nearly as aggressive as the Mercurial or Phantom ones.

Probably not ideal but should be fine, the sole plate isn’t too aggressive.
I wore the 9 FG pro on AG and the soleplate got seperated after a few games. Not sure if AG would fare better.

I have really really wide foot and I had hard time finding new boots the last weeks. They are arrived today. Its fine for me, I would say im 85% Happy
I don’t know why they don’t use kangaroo leather as much, optics maybe? But kangaroos are a pest in Australia… national animal sure, but a pest.
Boot is very narrow in toe box and I have average width feet. Sizing up doesn't help because then it'll just be too long. Can't imagine this fits most people. What was nike thinking releasing this crap in the tiempo line? Returned it. Touch is mediocre, synthetic feeling as well and nothing like real leather. Seems like a cost cutting measure to please shareholders at the expense of customers.
Dont buy the PRO version. The insoles in the PRO version is crap. Just paper. And its a deal breaker for sure. I have not tried the Elite 10 version, but i would guess the insoles is as good as 8 and 9.

Josh they released the white / crimson pro with an ag sole that seems to be the same as the elite ag sole (so same sole as the gx 2’s) they seem to be getting out of the old ag pattern for their top tiempo lines. Would you know if the soleplate between the pro and the elite is the same for the ag variation? Thanks
Also does the new tiempo have more protection than the gx 2? It’s the only thing holding me back from switching out to the new tiempos. I have the elite 9’s but don’t like the mesh tongue foot is more exposed than the gx 2s

I would argue that the only reason this take down model is potentially just as good as the elite model is due to the fact that since the tiempo is no longer leather at all, they are all trash. 🤷♂️👎

Not just price as a factor, the Legend 10 pro feels absolutely awesome. I bought the turfs and can’t believe how good they feel. Zero break in time.

I wore Tiempo every year from the age of 17 until now that i'm 32 for me this is the best Tiempo ever made. They feel like leather but they are thinner, lighter and the main thing is that they will last for a full season as they don't stretch like leather does!
