I don't know why but I love Chilla's Art games. They are short experiences but they're so well crafted and grounded to reality. There isn't an omnipresent monster chasing you. Our protagonist isn't a super human that uses holy water to heal his wounds and put his hand back together. We're just a normal person running from a threat that could be 100% real. And that's why I love their games. They present you real life situations that can possibly happen and you just feel helpless. Chilla's Art games are such a great experience that everyone should experience some time. I mean, experience the games, not the real life situations, obviously.
The one thing to note here besides the jump in quality on chilla's art games, is just how much The Librarian's commentary has improved, comparing this to his first playthroughs on chilla's arts games its like night and day
honestly I love your channel so much because every type of format you have fits what I like doing. The hour long gameplays are fun while eating/snacking and just relaxing in general, then the horror story reading vids are perfect for having in the background while I play certain sim games and etc. Thank you for bringing some calm to my eventful life mr librarian.
Its not just a thing in Japan. Its a thing all over the world. But for the most part the people doing this kinda thing are more integrated in the school system and its far less of a detective thing and far more a "We help you if you need it" thing. Basically mediation for the most part. Its not seen as often and this one is 100% an extreme case.
I'm a little on-the-fence about the narrative for this game. For a title that dwells so much on the motivations of the children and why they've chosen to leave their homes, the actions you perform to avoid tragedy don't have anything to do with the story itself. I feel like Sato would have more closure had she been able to genuinely change the course of events in a way that would bring the girls home, instead of doing things like giving a beer to the alcoholic in front of the police station in exchange for a pinwheel. Then again, there may be a culture gap at play here, and the intent on offering the items to the shrine may have more weight in Japan than we might assign it in Western culture. That being said, this game has fantastic atmosphere and just the right amount of Lynchian weirdness to make it memorable, and your playthrough was a great watch. Looking forward to the rest of your INFRA videos, too!
7:01 “No matter how I swing it, it never turns.” … “…You’re supposed to be a middle schooler?” Laughed way harder than I should have- Amazing video by the way! ❤️
Chilla's Art do put out games at a pretty rapid pace, and it looks like they recycle assets fairly often, but no one can say that they don't vary things up.
I played this joint before and honestly it was super disappointing when comparing it to other chilla's art games. I feel like there was much more that could be done in this game that would make it way better
Those children sure are missing
they really are
mfw the children are missing:
Hay no spoilers
maybe the real missing children were the friends we made along the way
@@KyzenEXspoken like a true librarian fan 😇🙏
4:25 the librarian accidentally being too honest but immediately feeling bad about being so harsh to the developer
...nah I'm sure he meant what he said. That animation _was_ horrifying

Did you say locked shit or locked shed
Damn, for being one of Chilla's Art earlier games, it's definitely one of the best. I was super invested throughout.

Indentured servant sim
For those of you wondering, when the dad is facing the wall muttering to himself at 30:54, he is saying, "Come back soon, Aokei Haro"
I’m trying to unwind after my classes while my food is heating up and honestly this is the best thing to help relax

I found this channel like 3 years ago, i didn't know that i would love this channel, your style of video in my opinion is so freaking sick.

I'm addicted to librarian.. when i see a new video, i immediately feel dopamine filling my brain
Also Librarian, the police station at the start of the game is called "Cat's eye Police Station" (猫の目交番)
Chillas art time‼️

That static noise inside the houses is the exact same weird junk noise I hear when my mom calls me during rush hour & she's driving through a tunnel.
