This is the information I've been searching for to fit better wheels to my 4th Gen F body.
lol me too
This is awesome!!! 🍻 Great R&D!
Thanks for the heads up I got a 67 Camaro I’m throwing c5 brakes on and was going to Drill everything so I can run some te37v but this will be much easier 👍
I love the idea . Just keep in mind with the pad overlap if you go with a psm hydro setup that pad overlap will make a difference. Just keep that in mind when choosing your hydro setup.
Thanks for info, I checked into what you’re talking about. Definitely something to chew on. Both PSM & FDFRACESHOP dual caliper kits use the z06 rotor. Which is a 339mm rotor. That’s 41mm bigger than the the CTS rotor. So I got something’s to think about.
@@johnleedom5606 i was only saying because i bought the drift hq kit sorry not pbm when it first came out and it was for z51 originally and had pad overlap and it ate pads and rotors finally i got the correct replacement. Just a heads up
@boostinsti1 can you enlighten me on what you had modified from the DHQ hydro kit to address overlap? That is the hydro I'm planning on and definitely interested in making sure it's fully compatible with the CTS rotors
@@billypurdy8581 I actually bought them as soon as they dropped itwas z53 or something theyve addressed it
This was exactly what i was looking for, I have multiple sets of rims laying around but nothing in a 5x120. I don't know about the spacers though. Probably just make a set myself, the wait will kill me, trying to get this done asap.

Brilliant!
Saving this video
My top ones with the kit were a little too long for the fronts so I had to trim the end of the bolts so the hub can spin freely
We offer 2 options, they have different length bolt for this reason. One is longer for the FDF Mini Mantis Kit & the other is shorter.
Brilliant
What wheels size did you put on it after the hub conversion was on ?
Just regular v6 hubs off a cts? Also the spacers were to swap rotors only right? I have drilled rotors so if hubs are identical i should just bolt on. I gave a c6 and did FDF drill kit last year and the extended studs I had wobbled loose at Hyeprfest. Tha KS for this info doing next week
Yes OEM V6 hubs. You shouldn’t have any issues with your redrilled rotors. Do you have a fdf angle kit?
@@johnleedom5606 I have an FDF Mega Mantis kit and a whole bunch of other arms. Car is a little silly LOL
I mean some wheels people buy for e46 bmw’s fit the c5 but I can see why you’d wanna do the swap
Anyone know if there's a kit for a c6 😢 I'm contemplating on getting the redrill kit but not sure if it'll kill the strength on the hubs since I'm 800hp with 20s 😭
Will this work with base C6 vettes as well?
Are those the magnesium OEM wheels?
I am trying to convert my 2002 S10 Blazer extreme to 5 x114.3 will this conversion work on my Blazer ? I really dislike the 5x120 bolt pattern bc the options are limited for wheel selection. Please get back to me thank you
Are hub spacers the better spacer to go with?
Id love to know if this same setup would fit a base c6 😭
Same. Did you try?
Can you drop links to the specific ones you got just wanna buy what you have and feel more confident in it
clubrowdy.com/products/c5-corvette-5x114-3-hub-spacer-adapters
Can you drop the links to the hubs you got? I’ve seen a thousand different ones wanna copy yours tbh
Just a heads up to anyone looking into this, the CTS hubs are technically 5x115 with plenty of heresay problems with running 5x114 wheels on them.
It’s literally the same as people running BMW wheels 120mm vs 120.68mm. I’ve yet to have an issue. But thank you for the information
@@johnleedom5606 yeah, none of my Corvette drift buddies have had any problems and it's probably low chance of failure but even a 1 in 1000 chance of high speed wheel stud failure is enough to take into consideration for some people
They dont make the spacers anymore.
We do, I just have to get more back in stock
I had a friend order them for me, but he got a canceled email back.
When do you have them back in stock if i may ask?😊
@@davegrispen3643 I’ll probably put in the order to have them made today, so 2-3 weeks from now. The cadmium plating takes a little bit of time.
Thanks for the update. When they are on stock again then i will order a set. Thanks in advance.👍👍
