The Light Side ending was the canonical one, so the DLC was a way to see what would have happened had Starkiller killed Vader. It was nothing more than a fun "ok, you've changed canon, go nuts and kill the heroes" thing. Dragon Age Origins did something similar with the Darkspawn DLC, giving us a world state where our player character died in the intro and thus letting the party continue without our leadership, while we play as one of the minions of the game's final boss and slowly kill our party bit by bit as we play on the enemy side. Non canon, just a fun what if story.

It absolutely did! Look at the cloth physics on Starkiller's robes tho! I'm playing Dark Souls Remastered at the moment, a game that originally came out in 2011 and it doesn't even have that. The Force Unleashed games held up much better than games like Dark Souls or Skyrim which came out later.

The game has a plethora of particle effects, low res (noticeable up close) but still detailed texture work. The mesh is pretty detailed. No noticeable Tris like in say L4D2. The scenes are visually complex without being disorienting. The amount of assets on screen at once while also accounting for physics calculations is impressive. Much of the lighting and shadows are baked but are nicely placed. Anything not baked is a bit glitchy unfortunately. Overall, graphics are good. Two games I'd use as examples of bad graphics are Halo 4 & 5. Ugly texturing and a complete lack of understanding and utilization of focal points and character silhouettes.

Starkiller is not OP. While the game serves as a power fantasy for Star Wars fans, Starkiller is still very weak when compared to real Sith in the main game. In the DLC, he is more hands on than Vader and does not fall prey to the same hesitations.

Rey is not allowed to face adversity, make mistakes, or suffer consequences. She is perfect. A mad lib for Luke Skywalker and a character heavily influenced by KKK. She is the definition of a Mary Sue.
Starkiller may seem overpowered in his gameplay to serve as a power fantasy for the player (other games do this too like Destiny) but when put up against other big name characters, he struggles to defeat them. Starkiller is not overpowered but he is strong and capable.
Luke Skywalker according to Lucas was the most powerful Force user to date. However, he had to crawl, suffer, learn, and train his way to get there. The appeal of Star Wars is that we follow Luke on that hard journey.

Disney Lucasfilm staff have repeatedly mentioned their dislike for Luke Skywalker on the basis of race, sex, and their own bigotry. They don't like that he is a heterosexual white male, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and the favorite of many fans. All irrelevant to his success. He might have been the cute boy to girls, but not after Mark Hamill's unfortunate accident. He's just written well. Disney Lucasfilm has been seeking to replace him since Lucas sold Star Wars. Their lack of creative talent and skill, their bigotry however, only let's them create two dimensional characters like those of the Sequels and High Republic.
