  • This is my virtual tour video of Le Massif De Charlevoix, Quebec in Canada. (Not the one in Italy) I tried to showcase the full run from the top to the base, with the least amount of interruption from editing. Due to cold temperature, I had to make a stop often to ensure each recorded video was saved safely without an error.
My General Impression: Skiing down with a great view of St. Lawrence River was quite an experience. It felt like I was looking at the groups of ice bergs of North Pole. Pretty Magnificent. I almost thought this was just a frozen ocean, and not a river. I enjoyed some light tree-skiing on La Dérive. It wasn't too difficult and inside this tree-skiing area, I felt comfortable being alone as it wasn't too isolated from the main slope. Also loved seeing these tall, dark green trees. It was Saturday when I was here so the lines for the express gondola were long, about 10+ min wait time but the lines on the other conventional lift were super short. I also had a fun chat with two people from Montreal who were just coming back from their ski trip to Whistler, BC. I find that It's pretty easy to have a great, fun chat with people from Montreal.
Oh, it was really cold (-6 Fahrenheit at the top lodge) when I was waiting in the line for the lift ticket but the base at the bottom felt almost warm, relatively. I didn't know it could be that different.
Wish I could have tried slopes with more steepness, and video-recorded those but I couldn't. I believe I included slopes those in the two pictures @13:05
Off-piste skiing option was available on www.lemassif.com/en
but pretty sure they still offer it.

You are welcome! I made them so that people can compare and choose which ski place they want to go. Thank you!!

I watched a couple of your videos, I saw you ski, both La Massif and Sugarloaf. Which did you prefer and why? I will be in the area Dec 20th,

thank you. Between Le Massif and Sugarloaf, I would just go to the one that's closer to you. For a relaxed/remote/peaceful retreat vibe, I would pick Sugarloaf. I think I preferred Le Massif because I found it's very easy to have conversation with Quebecois. I found restaurants in the tourist area of Maine/Vermont are excellent. Especially near Stowe, VT area. I had a hard time finding a place to dine near Le Massif. I believe the restaurants inside the Sugarloaf resort will rival or be possibly better than even the ones in Montreal/Quebec City.
