I saw Ian Dury at the Palace Park June 1981 London with my brother Phill and he's mate Ian very good gig 💯👍
I was there and saw my musical heroes, at age 19, the only time I got to see Ian and the band....
I saw them in Cambridge just before Christmas of 2000, I think. Ian died three months later. The band were just fantastic, really tight and lots of extended improv/jamming.

He sure didn't encourage the great Don Cherry forward. As Ian himself would later sing, "What a waste".
I am pretty open minded and like enjoy tons of different music. This was horrible. Sorry folks, but this was just plain bad.
