- Canon Pixma MG6821 All in One printer is very compact for an all in one and in general is very low maintenance, however, like all things out there may need to be fixed once in a while. We take apartbthis printer to show how to get to certain parts so you can make a judgement on the repair before you take it to a repair technician or before you get rid if your printer. I hope this video helps you in some way.

I think you're the only one on youtube doing this specific video. I needed to replace the control panel, so thanks a lot!
Thank's alot man
I remember bookmarking one of the video of yours taking apart Pixma 7xxx series, but now it's gone.Could you help me with that,i scoured all your videos but couldn't find it. My printer is MG 7570 if you ever had worked on that series or that specific model, a post on that would help me a lot.TQ
Good day. Nice video. It convinced me to proceed and open up our printer here also MG6800 series. It didnt take up paper, but produced machine gun alike sounds, before going into error state. Problem seemed to be a little latch on the part that is taken out at 11:04. It stuck out, and blocked the path of the paper. When taking out that part, the latch works nicely. but is controlled by a shaft that ends in a slotted white nylon actuator coming from the "gearbox" under the electric motor and what appears to be a pump arrangement that feeds excess ink to the waste reservoir. A broken or locked gear might explain the machine gun noise. So question is there any point to open that up ? Very messy due to the ink ? Does anyone have experience with the gearbox parts of printers and in particular repairability in case of problems ?
Thanks in advance.
Hi, I was given a Canon Pixma MG6851 from a friend and it works fine but I've noticed the front cover flap won't stay shut, I've noticed there is a hole on either side of the flap and was wondering should there have been some kind of stopper or something in them to catch when the front flap shuts ??
After mentioning it to my friend she just said: "it use to stay shut but a few months back, then while I was moving the printer it opened and wouldn't shut anymore, so I just left it open all the time.."
Thanks for any advice, if there is something missing could I purchase the parts to restore this printer.
Thx for any advice..
I have a 6851 with a C000 error. When I opened it up I noticed a small, hard white plastic rectangular part was loose in the printer about 4cm x 5mm. I assume it comes from the larger rectangular hard white plastic part on the far right of the carriage assembly. However you don't dissasemble this part so I can't see where it goes? Any advice on what I can do?
I have the identical printer in the video. I started getting error codes and the codes centered arond the print head. I bought a print head cleaner on line, used it and i get the first copy streaking on it and then noting but blank pages after. What do I need to look for??
Hi, what is the best ink for its printer Canon pixma mg6821
I like how he get's pissed and simply jank it off...
LOL
It looks like you do not plan to put it back together. LoL I want to see what wrong inside with mine so I can fix it and put it back together.
Do you have video to fix B200 error, I have pixma 922.
Printhead error. There are reset instructions on the web. However it's probably a burned out printhead. If so it's probably uneconomic to repair unless you can pull one from another damaged printer. They cost at least £60-70 - often more.
I had a paper jam and removed the paper but the error code kept showing. Checked all the spots for paper and none. Figured the paper might be behind the cog where the jam was but couldn't reach that area without taking the side off. I also blew some air into the machine and the straw blew right off behind something so I took off the side watching this video and got the straw out but no sign of paper. After blowing more air the error code said paper jam in the back but of course there was no paper there. Makes no sense where this paper is. Been working on this for four days, hate to junk it.
What kind of screw driver do you use to open up the power pack?
I do not have tha screwdriver, do not know the size. I used needle nose plyers to open the power supply once or twice.
my printer doesn't want to connect to any devices I connect into it. model: Officejet 3890
