Great ideas. It's amazing how awful the basic set up looks, but then the magic happens. You did a wonderful job. Everything looked well displayed and organized organized. The pvc pipe and rolling cart were definitely something to purchase.

Thank you for making this video and your other series of videos about preparing for your craft fair. I too am preparing for my first craft show and am excited, nervous, and anxious. I'm wondering if you could tell me approximately how much it cost you in fees for using the Square in your last show. I feel like I need to have this available, and yet I'm trying not to keep adding to the expenses.

Hi Nancy, I don't have a lot of experience with payment options but I did find square to be very easy to use. I am not sure how they do it but they charge the same rate for all the different credit cards (currently 2.6% plus 10 cents per transaction) They have a slightly higher rate (3.5% plus 15 cents) if you have to manually type in the credit card information instead of swiping or using a chip reader. I am not sure why there is a difference. Square will send you a free attachment for swiping credit cards when you sign up. If you don't have time to wait for it they are also available at Best Buy stores for around 10 dollars.
I don't have one yet but I have also noticed that a lot of people use a Venmo account. Hope this helps and have a great show!

Well, set up, I just need to be more organized because. I'm the last crafter to set up their booth. And the last to take down their booth.
@@duelinsandi Hi do you do a practice set up? That is actually one of my favorite things to do. Of course you need the space for it. But it is fun to see everything put together in a non stressful environment. And it helps me to know what order everything goes in so my actual set up goes smoothly.
