- We’ve been waiting for Lori Vallow’s niece Melani Pawlowski to take the stand, but instead, Melani’s husband Ian Pawlowski testified.
The judge was aware that Melani listened to her ex-husband's testimony and saw some headlines on the trial.
Being exposed to testimonies or coverage, would violate the “exclusionary rule” and eliminate her as a witness. Meanwhile, Ian Pawlowski testified he never saw Lori Vallow’s kids JJ and Tylee, and Lori allegedly never mentioned them.

Melani P needs to be in jail!
Hopefully in this do-over, she won't try to kill her 2nd spouse and/or lose custody of her child.
Both Melanie’s need to go to prison.
Why? There’s no evidence she killed anybody.
It sounds as if Melani P was in Hawaii having a difficult time in her life and she needed “friends” to help her through it, and possibly contemplating the “casting out” of her own children! Unbelievable

Yeah... and there's an interview of the two of them together, where she talks about how betrayed she felt after he told her he'd been talking to the police, but that she'd forgiven him. No talk at all of how he might have felt learning all this about her on their wedding night, but not BEFORE they got married.

@@barbh1 Originally Melani had physical custody of the children but hasn't since maybe end of 2020 or beginning of 2021 so it's been awhile. Brandon has custody of their children and he and Melani are in litigation regarding this. Ian Pawlowski mentions that Brandon and Melani have a case going without mentioning custody. Currently Melani and Ian are raising their daughter together and Ian has a shared custody with his ex wife for their children.

I think he is trying to make sure there isn't a mistrial by listening and making decisions based on.. what is being asked, and making sure that he doesn't just shut down everything the defense attorneys are saying. Given that... I think he is doing a good job.. what I think about the attorney Archibald he is very invasive with his questions and he is extremely rude to the judge from what I can tell. He acts like the judge isn't in the room until he is done with all of his questions. Not a thank you, not even a sorry to the Judge

Believing Charles was a scheming cheater trying to plot something to get at Lori. Just sad. Yes, it is a great piece to listen to. The family is in Hawaii, Alex is left behind, finds her dead in the parents bed (weird) bringing his cousin along (alibi?), the family doesn’t interrupt vaca to see sister b4 she dies in hospice,… cremates her, has a speedy service.

I believe I remember, hearing before the trial started, that Lori’s counsel requested the court to not have cameras in the quart room. I believe the judge made the decision to leave them out.
The Mormon church only wants its members to be open to what the "prophet" (the president of the church) tells them. They are required to sustain the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as the prophet, seer, and revelator and as the only person on the earth authorized to exercise all priesthood keys and sustain the members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as prophets, seers, and revelators. That is why Chad was excommunicated for apostasy. Personal revelation is just that...personal.
Meagan, Lori's cousin, in interview she gave after testifying claims that Lori has yet to be excommunicated by the LDS. Melanie Gibb hosted PAP meetings at her Warren's fireside so the LDS has some accountability for this kind of cross contamination of LDS and fringe beliefs.
That's the problem with the church, they claim to follow Jesus but they follow a man. It sets the precedent that its ok to stray from the ACTUAL true gospel (KJV)

He told Melaniece they were being recorded and she told Lori, thats why nothing incriminating was said. She can't take the stand or she maybe asked if she was aware they were being recorded and that would nullify Ian's testimony.
Why not ask why he married Melanie so quick after they met
The Defense attorney asks him about when he met with the State and he agrees it was prior to testifying in court. So many curt Yes or No answers from Ian. Coached to leave out as much information as possible. The whole thing seems gamed. She deliberately avoids testifying and avoids a court sanction but he's allowed to despite naturally having discussed it with his own wife. The only other time we heard from him was when he sat there watching his wife lie to Nate Eaton. How can he ever trust his wife or around their kids?
Once Melani can nolonger get child support from Brandon rude awakening cause he can afford to pay child support to two women he's stuck till his older kids are eighteen
The judge this must be a pain to have lori's lawyer protest to everything the state should just get it over with and put this murderer in jail for life with no chance of her ever getting out to hurt anyone else again

I thought LV and. CD arranged Melanies’s marriage to Ian? They got married down inVegas along with Zulema and Alex. Also I would think Ian would be worried about being knocked off for his life insurance given the attempt on BB . I can’t believe M and I are still together.
