  • NEW $16.99 LUNCH BUFFET IN VANCOUVER!
[Not Sponsored, Honest Review] There is a restaurant in Vancouver currently offering an all-you-can-eat lunch for $16.99. You can find this at Feel City BBQ on West Broadway in Vancouver, which is known for their Chinese BBQ skewers.
We decided to give them a try and here is my honest review.
Adults are $16.99. Kids 7 - 12 are half price with a paying adult. Kids 6 and under are free. Seniors 65+ are $10.99.
How it works is that you pay at the counter first and then you receive a tray, a bowl and a cup.
At the time of my visit, the buffet had about 18 - 19 items.
The most valuable item and one of a two seafood items offered is the spicy crab. There was also Mini Chinese donuts, spring rolls, sesame balls, chicken wings, dumplings, veggie fried noodles, tea eggs, sweet and sour pork, tomato egg, broccoli stir-fry, fried fish sticks, curry beef and potatoes, noodles, and more.
They also offer rice which is self-serve from a rice cooker.
Also included in the price of the buffet are drinks like soft drinks; soy milk and tea.
I thought the quality of the food and the number of options presented was OK for $16.99 and it included drinks. The spicy crab was good but they are smaller crabs so don’t have that much meat to them.
The buffet was restocked somewhat reasonably but you can tell the staff which items you want that are low.
I thought there were some logistical issues with how the buffet was presented like the handling of the serving utensils and I offered that feedback to the staff.
They have a nice, spacious restaurant with lots of booth seating.
Overall, it was an OK experience for a $16.99 buffet which is comparable to some of the hot bars you would find at supermarkets.

@@Foodgressing You just know the greedy Asians would just load their metal plates with all the crab and then everyone who didn't get any would complain and want their money back or a discount since they expected crab legs.

@@spiegel3269at that point, either the restaurant should stop serving them (ideal route since no matter what people do, someone somewhere will just cry and whine) OR have someone dish them out and put a limit on it.
