You absolutely nailed McNabb, Mavis, Baxter, Truehart, Sommerset, Dr. Mira, and Nadine. I had not envisioned Af- Ams for Whitney and Tibble, but Freeman and Fishburne work. Great job.
YES!! While all excellent suggestions, VR for Crack is a BRILLIANT choice! The only other person I cam see as Crack is the late great Michael Duncan Clark....but he seems to sweet in a way. Ving has that EDGE.

Stiff??Rigid or something and i really wasn't feeling Mavis. Although Dwayne Johnson as Leonardo... I just can't picture him wringing his hand while Dallas decks Pandora lol
Some I liked, some I didn't but it's your dream. :) Some I wouldn't have thought of like Mira. After reading so many of the " In Death" books I have a certain pic in my head of what they should look like. But wow would I love to see a movie made of one of them. Maybe someday. Until then we Dream~~~~~~~~
Except for Katy Perry and Thandie Newton(Anna Whitney is Caucasian), this list is SPOT ON. I envision these actors whenever I'm reading an ID novel. WELL DONE!!
I can agree with a few of these (right on with Baxter) but Roarke in my opinion is all wrong… though it’s hard to find the “right Roarke”… I don’t know if this would ever succeed as a TV series as there are already so many crime/murder mystery/cop dramas out there (some of which were in some way based on this series and the characters). It would have a lot to live up to…
Personally, i see Pierce Brosnan as Roarke, gwen Stefani as Mavis, i think that they did get some of these right, like the cat and maybe Eve, but i see Amanda Tapping as Dr. MIRA.
This is it, congratulations again. There's only the small particular of an incredibly, ugly, unfitting Roarke. I also don't like Webster thath much and would use Baxter as True heart (Eve calls him the American dream and the other one is too smallish.

Not bad, except Peabody should be played by someone with a squarer face, McNab by someone with a narrower face, Feeny is too handsome, Dr Mira is too young, Meryl Streep is just revolting, and Galahad doesn't have different coloured eyes. Just my opinion, and since I seldom watch TV/movies, I'm sorry I can't offer any alternatives.
Definitely agree how Feeney. Scott is not a good fit...too good looking(not that Feeney is ugly or hideous looking but never struck me as sexy. SB is still very hot at his age lol).
