  • On this episode I'll show you how to change out your rear endlinks. Specifically, I'll show you how to install LEXUS IS-F rear endlinks on the 2GS chassis. This means this mod will work on other vehicles as well, like the SC430!

    I can confirm those FIGS adjustable work great! I'm only dropped 1.8 all around and those FIGS come in handy for proper sway bar preload.

      I'm actually in the market for a set of figs. Thank you for commenting because I was unsure.

      I went with the OE style they offer.. waiting for them to come in hoping I made the correct decision.

      My friend figured it out, but he has coilovers. So I rolled the dice.

    Love it. Always finding new innovative upgrades for the 2nd gen gs. I'm on bilstein shocks with tein shocks on 20 in rims with 30 series tires. I was planning to fender roll if i did this. So we're talking a 3/4" drop.

    So I’m lowered with a Megan racing rear sway bar, aftermarket rear control arms and toe arm and my OEM replacement rear links snapped on me on the stiffer setting, gonna try this to see if it resolves but if not definitely gotta get the figs engineering adjustables ill update

    Just bought a 98 gs400 , mint condition, re-done with black interior, has muffler delete , slowly re-doing maintenance parts as what you’re doing. Love the channel, new subscriber also . 🫶

    I️ have Megan coilovers on and was wondering if I️ should go this route or figs

    • @ForwardMomentum
      @ForwardMomentum  Před 10 měsíci

      Depends on your drop. If it’s 1” or less, then these are great. If it’s more and you adjust the ride height often, adjustable FIGS would be best.

    Just wondering do you have ppe headers installed? Have seen them online but don’t know if they are worth it.

    • @ForwardMomentum
      @ForwardMomentum  Před 10 měsíci +1

      No I don’t. They wouldn’t sponsor me. 😆. You need an AFC and AFR gauge to street tune at a minimum for headers to be worth it.

    Hi friend. Will these fit with stock springs/shock (stock height) and aftermarket sway bar?

    • @ForwardMomentum
      @ForwardMomentum  Před 5 měsíci +1

      If you’re stock height I would keep stock length links. To answer your question yes, these will fit, but it may not be ideal.

    Im sure you've mentioned it in a previous video but approximately how much did you lower your GS? I think it would help give folks a good idea if they should go with these ISF end links vs fully adjustable end links

    • @ForwardMomentum
      @ForwardMomentum  Před 11 měsíci +1

      2”F, 1.2”R. I mentioned the rear drop in this vid. I think a lot of people completely ignore endlinks when they lower their car, which is unfortunate. I have done the same thing honestly. This mod is a good one for OEM+ “sport” suspension guys like me, but it also shows how to do the job if someone went adjustable. Or, if they need to saw an old one off 😆.
