It is with great sadness that Trenchtown singer songwriter and guitarist David "Leso" Leslie suddenly passed away earlier today 20/09/2020 aged just 52 R.i.P comrade you've been taken from us way too early. Toots must've needed a decent sideman.
I can't believe it rob. Poor leso. Every time I met him he'd say "look at your fella" great memories I even managed to get yous to play at my 21st. RIP Leso.
@@leannecaffrey1545 Yeah "Look at your fella" was a big moment in Lesos life he would always remind me of that incident and have a great laugh about it. He was delighted for us to play at your 21st which was a great night.
To this day still one of my favourite ska tunes ever, great images too.

Thank you for the music David. We all grew up with Trenctown. Many great nights of fun with our friends in the boxing club... These memories are cherished forever in our hearts...Wherever you have gone to keep on jamming

Just googled you guys. Here reading a 1989 st Mary's school mag. It has an article about ye 👍👍great sound lads. I went to st Mary's
I remember that article, I was interviewed in the school cafeteria by a couple of students, I was sharing cigarettes with them which was very much breaking the rules. I also went to St Mary's CBS Penitentiary..........
