In the 90s I fell completely in love with Megadeth...Decades later the metal gods sent me the gift that is LOVEBITES. 🐺
This song is the encore song of Live in Tokyo 2020, after they had played 16 songs, including a piano solo. Note that LOVEBITES is derived from LOVEBITES (SO DO I) by Heimstrom.
LOVEBITES made their major debut in May 2017 and have been active mainly in Japan/UK/EU, participating in major metal festivals in various countries including [Wacken Open Air 2018], where they have already received high praise.
They have also participated in the Arch Enemy China Tour 2019, Dragonforce UK Tour 2019 and Healestorm Japan Tour 2019 as support acts and have established a good relationship with them.
My favorite band, period. 50+ years of listening to metal brought me to Lovebites.
This is/was my favorite Lovebites song(s). Midori (blond hair) and Miyako (black hair) are, in my opinion, the best dual leads ever. Asami's voice is amazing and so cool in metal of this high quality. Haruna is a beast on drums. Miho is a fast finger picking classic metal bassist.
They just came off of hiatus. Miho left the band, and they have a new bass player, Fami. She is a finger picker, slapper, and tapper. Very technical. They recently released the title track to their upcoming album, "Judgement Day". The music video is on their official CZcams channel. It's now my favorite song.
Miho was the bassist. She founded this wonderful band. Let us remember her always. Long live Miho! Long live the Lovebites! 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺

They named the band after the Grammy winning Halestorm song Love Bites (So Do I). Lead singer Asami has joined Lzzy and the boys on stage performing that song. Holy War is another song to check out.

In 2018 they won the Metal Hammer Golden God award in London for best new band an award previously won by Anthrax and Avenged Sevenfold. I already pre ordered the new album Judgement Day in December hard to believe the release is only 22 days away now.

I'm 65 and have been listening to rock/metal now for 55 years now. Lovebites are as good a metal band as I've ever heard. You get a couple more Lovebites songs under your belt you'll be ready for some Nemophila.

Welcome to the amazing world of Lovebites - the white wolves as they are called. These ladies are all top notch musicians and will blow you away song after song. They won the 2018 Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. Midori and Miyako are one of the greatest heavy metal guitar duos of all time. You will agree once you see more and more of their songs. The two of them are phenomenal and do crazy solos in every single song. They harmonize so well together. Lovebites combines elements of thrash metal, power metal, speed metal, and progressive metal into their own style. This was one of their thrash songs and a top 5 song by them. They also do ballads and incorporate the piano and acoustic guitar in some of their songs. So many ways to go for your next song. I recommend "Set the World on Fire" to be the next one.
Absolutely, do what you want is very rock and metal. Metal got to be Free and radical.

The musical composition "The Awakening" (2 min 04 sec) and the song "The Hammer of Wrath" (4 min 41 sec) are the first two original tracks of LOVEBITES from the first studio album "Awakening from Abyss" (October 2017). During the concert, "The Awakening" serves as the intro to which the band takes the stage.
Several bands have the song "Love Bites". For example, "Love Bites" DEF LEPPARD , "Love Bites" JUDAS PRIEST , "Love Bites (So Do I)" HALESTORM .
The band's name LOVEBITES comes from the song HALESTORM.

"The Awakening" has completely passed over your ears and eyes. 🤭As for the moment when you interrupted the guitar solo, 🙃chatted during the bass solo, 😳then interrupted another bass solo🤦♂..... that's a crime. the awakening is that prerecorded intro leading into ' the hammer of wrath'. it is done as it is on their first full length cd from 2017. so 'the awakening' means just that. and this was the start of the encore from this show. hope you do more of them because if you love the female metal bands from japan so far you have now struck pure gold. EVERY song. no exception.

My friend, you have just witnessed greatness. These women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. You’ve just scratched the tip of the iceberg. Some people say that they are from another planet and came to earth in order to save metal. I discovered this band about three years ago and I’m still in awe.

congrats for having discovered this juwel of a band. I think, you have instantly noticed the level of class of this band. they are relentless perfectionists and one of the very rare bands, which have no (!) bad or mediocre song in their catalogue, only good songs, very good ones and masterpieces. since you love the bass: after their old bassplayer, metal backbone, steve harris fan and founder miho left the band in 2021, they went into hiatus (weddings, childbirth, the virus were reasons for that too). december 2022 they came back, better, stronger, faster and fitter than ever. with a new bassplayer, who is a 20 yr old bass prodigy. she has her own YT channel with 650000 subcribers and she can play. here is a link for an example of her extraordinary skills: czcams.com/video/Q_UqztwYAOU/video.html you can see the evolution of the band in their new official video "judgement day" from their official YT channel. thanks for great reaction and appreciation.

Lovebites does start their concerts with some kind of buildup, although this particular video/song was for when they came back out for the encore.
