I'm sure it will be broadcasted even if some countries didn't particpate to the production.
Cannot wait in Spain there is nothing i must wait till the Dutch tv send it out i be Dutch everything whe have not seen is more than welcome. I never have enough from ABB`a i love them my whole life. Never been to the abba museum because it is to expensive for me from out Spain but the love four the members will never stop❤️❤️❤️❤️

For so many years we have had some good but repetitive ABBA documentaries but this one looks very different and exciting. It’s a pity we never got the original planned documentary because of the delay with Voyage. One day I would love to see something purely about the show.

I was so relieved to see United Kingdom on the list, last but not least, always love the Abba weekends our television channels regularly show, a testament to the enduring respect and unwavering popularity of Abba. Abba always regarded (not the US but) the UK as the pure metroplolis of pop music and pop culture.And despite UK press past hostile ground underneath the British audience loved them either openly or secretly.Their phenomenal record sales in the Uk was a proof of people's massive response and approval.I recall reading once in an interview(i think it was Benny or Bjorn kinda saying that)'once we had a hit record in the Uk we know it's then a hit everywhere"/'In 1976 when they briefly visited England they said that was the first time they felt as if the general response was kinda 'ok you are now 'one of us".They greatful to the Brits and the Aussies.

This is exactly what ABBA needs. They need an anthology style documentary series like the Beatles got back in the 1990s. You cannot tell the ABBA story in two or three hours!

More Abba At The BBC will feature one particularly nostalgic moment, after the Beeb was handed a video it believed was lost in its archives a tape of the band’s 1974 performance on Top Of The Pops.
The recording, which shows them belting out 1974 hit So Long, was thought to have been lost but will now be shown in full for the first time in five decades.
Another BBC2 programme, When Abba Came To Britain, will also celebrate the success of the group

i gues they will, sooner or later.It's just that Universal is possibly aware that Abba in the US isn't really so much adored by the masses there, same way we do here in Europe or DownUnder.Sadly critics and Djs had different picks and culture and didn't really help to built up something special for them.But i'm sure US Abba fans really adore them anyway.
@@christianoazzuro6711 ABBA does have a significant following here enough for them to do a tour in 1979 and a large number of promotional pushes in 1975, and 1977, and they had significant chart success in USA although they were mainly reaching the top 20 although a few reached the top 10 and one reached number one

This sounds fantastic. About time there was a new look at ABBA, never seen before footage and audio once again makes me wonder how much more film is hidden away in the archives. Just got my ABBA on Record book too What a fantastic start to the year so far.
Maybe Ludvig and Lasse have also digged out some '77 RAH material to let it out for us.

One of the odds ABBA also faced would have been America based sub optimal validation at various points.
Yet,Winning hearts of people & getting them added to the ultimately massive fan base was autonomous & beyond their power & jcontrol.

Nice documentary. Some clips I had not seen before. I am not sure if ABBA provided some new voice over ? Maybe not. In Denmark it will air on TV i may and I guess then the same in other countries.

I'll temporarily avoid ABBA channels and pages until I see the document. I don't want to get spoiled.
I'm very impatient to discover the new documentary, I just wondering if the expections will be fulfilled. the number of european broadcasters makes think that they can really have acces to a lot of archives of good quality but not so many unseen things as a lot already have surfaced on CZcams by fans who have collected a lot of the shows through the years, and there have already been many good documentaries but let's see! The other possibility is that the channels want to surf on the special event of the 50 years anniversary and and they participated in the financing to be able to benefit from the broadcast in their respective countries.In any case, I will not shy away from my joy because it is a great event simply to celebrate 50 years of Waterloo at Eurovision throughout Europe. I'm curious to see what impact it has on the charts and download platforms. Sending my love to all the fans from all over the world and to my big 4 ...

The show has been developed by DR and SVT in collaboration with BBC, ARD/WDR, France Télévisions, NTR, NRK, YLE, RUV, VRT, EER, and Czech TV. All european channels showing the documentary. Wonder which of them have free steaming

Please if you don't mind me asking, why didn't ABBA win any prestigious or popular music awards throughtout their career given that they were very successful in albums and singles sales?
Well Queen never even got a G(Sc)rammy btw.As for Abba,. keep in mind that they had won the most prestigious award of all.People's longlasting, deep loving non fading interest.And that's a labour for a non Anglosaxon pop band that had disbanded 4 decades ago and hadn't recorded/released any new material since 1982.Abba's triumpant comeback with the Voyage era is the summing up of people's huge demand and tight pure emotional bond.Prizes and fashions come and fade away after sometime.Abba is now an evergreen legacy act , all in favour of the record buying public.It's us fans who put them on this map even back then when critics slagged them off and some radio dj's even refused to play Abba records in the beginning.Imo they have nothing more to win or to prove.Time proved this.Official prestigious awards are mainly made up by industry people.I would exclude the Rock n roll Hall of fame to which Abba won in 2010 cause as far as i know it's people's voting choice.

Will Australia get the film? Probably not. Everyone seems to have forgotten that ABBA would have faded away after the Eurovision Song Contest if it had not been for Australia. The UK weren't interested but to hear them talk now it's all down to them.
