Considering how burnt out Sakuraba must be by this point using the same instruments and motifs for Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile, and Tales over and over again while trying to keep them separate, this track proves he can still dish out something that embodies the magnificence of Star Ocean 2 and the first Valkyrie Profile.

Same the final dungeons in JRPGs always seem like a hassle. That said look up Moment of Ruin That Shakes the Heavens from Tales of Vesperia. I don't think that one can be topped
Yeah, Berseria is great, it even has a strong argument for best Tales game. But the large environments felt kind of pointless since anything of interest was easy to spot.
The fact that this never got interrupted by regular encounter music makes this theme all the more glorious.
I love when jrpgs do this, especially when the final dungeon theme is a banger.
