    NcNutt is going to Oregon. He will be there a year or two and then transfer back. I don’t lose a wink of sleep with the transfer portal. Every year… all college football players are up for recruitment.

    Trey, you are a Buckeye legacy. You are loved by Buckeye nation. There is always the draw of going far away for your college experience but I can tell you that it’s nice to go home for the weekend , get your laundry done and have Mom cook a homemade meal. They will help you fulfill your dreams and make you into the man that they did for your Dad. This is your home.

    If NFL career matters for the CFB HOF, then why is Tim Tebow in it? I mean he won the Heisman and a Natty but that’s it.

    He cancelled his commitment because of the Microsoft issues that shut down computers and affected flights. Some of his family couldn’t make their flights. Nothing has changed with his decision! He just needed to give his family extra time to make new plans, and get everything situated with their time off of work, and things of that nature…since everything changed last second.

      No guarantee he's going to Oregon

    • @1876Oregon
      @1876Oregon Před měsícem

      @@VanHalenFan1964 Agreed! There’s never a guarantee with the recruiting picks experts make…but fortunately for Oregon, we lead in the spring and summer, and our recruiting class has only made it more appealing, since kids want to play with other elite players. And matching the #5 and #10 CB nationally, with the #1 and #2 safety’s nationally is probably hard to turn down, when it’s the school you have like the most the last 3months.
      And I understand that Ohio State has the #1, & #2 corners, and a top5 Safety, but they also have two other safety’s…even if they are lower ranked 3stars….but they still have limited room…and because of Faheem, offord and Sanchez, they won’t offer him what he’s worth…which is what they’re worth…but Oregon will.
      Fortunately for Oregon, we play a 4-2-5 base defense, and we let our safety’s make plays in the nickel corner position…and since Oregon’s losing 6 senior defensive backs-3 safety’s and 3 CB’s after the 2024 season, there’s a huge chance to play a lot early at Oregon as a freshman. Especially since we rotate more than 30players on defense, hockey style.
      And though I don’t think it will happen, Na’eem Offord is a priority for Oregon. And DJ Pickett had picked Oregon for almost 2wks, until the last 48hrs, due to his parents putting pressure on him about wanting to see every game in person, but not wanting to fly to Oregon, 7gms a year. But Oregon still wants to add one more elite DB for sure…and they will hopefully get some visitors for the Ohio state game, like Offord or Pickett.
      Our home game against Washington is how we got Kayvon Thibodeaux. And even though he had watched Florida State, Alabama, and many other top programs play, he said the game at Autzen was the best game experience he had ever had. So you never know….if we can get Na’eem or Pickett to witness Oregon playing OSU, and beating them in the game of the year, we could maybe flip one of them, since they’ve both visited Oregon several times…but they’ve never seen a BIG game in person.
