  • It is like magic how a 1200mm plane can fit inside this box! Today I'm looking at this Arrows RC Trekker with build and maiden flight.
    I fly mine with 3s 2200mAh battery and Spektrum NX10.
    Wing spann: 1200mm
    Length: 950mm
    Weight: 1000 grams

      Cool man! It's a nice plane but maybe not the best looking.

    I’d love to see your preflight routine…..showing control surfaces reacting to transmitter …please

      Nothing to it really as I usually just do a very quick check. Just as in this video where I'm about to take off: czcams.com/video/e6IchziazI8/video.html

    The Trekker is a good competitor to the Apprentice S2. The wing attachment and gear are better on the Trekker. I think the Apprentice is a better looking plane and with the convenience of being a BNF it edges out the Trekker for me. It is good to have choices.

      Apprentice is very nice but stil the Trekker is more agile and fun to fly.

    So, why did you go 2X? Do you miss not having flaps?

      Usually I do 1x but this time 2x worked just fine. Flaps isn't needed but yes if it had flaps it would have been nice.

    Are you a pilot 👨‍✈️ or an Astronaut 👩‍🚀 …. Anyway nice 👍 flight ✈️

    You miss out the wiring connections. Where does everything go? The instructions do not tell you anything.

      It is very difficult to film putting the tiny servo wires into the receiver so this is something I rarely do. As all wiring is the same on every plane more or less (putting cables into the correct receiver channel) I still hope this video give you some insight how the parts are put together. Bare in mind this plane on PNP configuration doesn't come with a receiver so it's more to do with electronics than assembly.

      @@SunriseRCAviator This is my first plane so I don't really know. You say all the wiring is the same on every plane. Is there a video that shows how a typical plane is wired up? I am really baffled by this allegedly ready to fly plane.

      @@georgechristoforou991 In the instruction manual on page 8 is a figure that shows which cable goes to which receiver channel. This will differ depending on what radio system you use but it should be straight forward if you got the RTF version.

      @georgechristoforou991 Před rokem

      @@SunriseRCAviator No that does not explain it. I have wires with back clips coming from the various servos. Then I have something that looks like a receiver with a big load of pins. Then another component that I assume is the controller with wires coming out of it. There are other wires that are not connected to anything. Some of the wires have labels on them and other wires do not have labels. It is a big mess.

      @@georgechristoforou991 Check out Brian Phillips 2:44 hour video as he got the RTF version instead of the PNP I have. With the PNP it is super easy but maybe the RTF is unnecessary complicated.
