    Bring back some of those sulfides to smelt and see if there are any materials in it

    Grab some of those yellow sulfides and bring them back to smelt I hate technology but that sulfides looking pretty good

      I’ll have to go back there and get some. Believe it or not, I forgot my gloves and a few other things. My gloves were important, when I had to crawl under the Barbwire fence, the ground was so hot It was literally burning the bottom of my hands. 🔥

    Could it have been an adit for haulage? Are there any shafts above. It appears like an attempt to create a large enough passage for ore carts and equipment.

      I’m not sure. I don’t think it was for ore carts. I learned yesterday that there was a mill (Lyon/Douglass Mill) right where the “Our Park” is in Dayton. Which was only a quarter mile east of the portal. There was another mill, the Woodworth Mill and Sluice across the street where the Santa Maria housing development is now. It’s a great thought!
