Loving the podcast. It’s fresh and you don’t see a group breaking down wrestling but also just having fun with it like yall. It’s so refreshing
The thing about not removing Xavier woods, is that he's the reason or main reason the new day became what it is today(not to say Kofi and Big E didn't contribute to it). Although with that said, if we go by certain metric, Woods is the only one to not be WWE champion.

Night 1 of the Draft was very underwhelming because basically everyone stayed where they were. Cool that Melo got a main event opportunity against Cody, he’s definitely gonna be a top player on SD

I was there in Columbus but was across BDE and Afro and they couldn't see me
There were far worse drafts. 2011 definitely being one of them. The main part is Cena going to SD and then back to Raw later in the night. That was just ridiculous. Then there is 2004. Nothing big happened, besides HHH moving to SD, but he didn't wanna work Tuesdays (shout-out Paul Heyman at ONS 2005), so some Raw superstars had to be traded to get HHH back in a way that makes sense. Don't even get me started on 2007. It was the first year of the draft lottery, but the picks were mid, The Great Khali, Chris Masters, The Boogeyman, and some other guy we will not talk about. If you know, you know. Lastly there is 2010 which is a bit of a stretch, because I find it meh, but if Raw picks it up tonight, maybe it won't be worse.
I don't remember too well, but I think Cena to SD was an error, so it got rectified at the end of the night.

A lot of people (myself included) equated Becky's situation to Mox when Punk got injured. Both were planning on taking a vacation, the champs got injured, their bosses asked them to come back and carry the belt in the meanwhile. There's a few differences between them that change the perspective: Mox hadn't actively competed for the belt in a while (since Kenny's run), he had been on a hot streak since coming back from rehab, the tournament for the belt had a lot of people who could legit win (The battle royal wasn't exactly filled with believable champs outside Liv/Becky) and there were a lot of new match-ups to be seen. I don't like that Becky won, but ultimately it is what it is. Anyone but Liv.

for me night one of the draft was bad but not because of who got picked where. When random legends come out and announce the picks instead of the general managers it feels scripted and just because it is doesn't mean it has to feel it. I want to see Adam Pearce come out and then get annoyed when Smackdown gets Andrade over him. Also the post draft picks could've been done better, like on a youtube stream or something. Also Aj got drafted way to late considering he's got a ppv title match imagine Smackdown forgot to draft him an RAW took him and there was a small chance that Raw had both world titles.

I understand having to give it to someone that could carry it. But it didn't have to be Becky, she just lost at mania. Honestly Nia having it would've been a good idea. Then Becky vs Nia could've been the first feud
Barron Corbin getting called up was a big thing but it was off hair which is weird. Becky Lynch needed and had to win that match to get the belt. If Liv had won it her revenge tour is over and she has no story other to than old it until Rhea returns. Now she has a storyline to further her revenge plans and take what should've been hers. She's been beaten by Becky at Elimination Chamber, in a match prior, and now this. So now there is a sense of revenge as Becky beat her stealing her opportunity to go at Rhea for her title when she held it. Plus she's 1-6 in matches this year, she hasn't had many this year nor screentime. Before qualifying in the chamber, all we've seen is her lose. Anyhow, now as there is an opportunity to build her up properly so when she wins the title and starts her reign until Rhea comes back, there is an actual threat for her to reclaim what she never lost.

Can’t judge this draft completely because there’s only been 1 day and the draft pool for Smackdown wasn’t the best. It was underwhelming but not everyone needs to completely switch brands because then everyone on Raw is now on Smackdown and nothings changed. Big things for Night 1 were Bron going to Raw, Melo going to Smackdown and Kiara James call up to Raw, Nia going to Smackdown plus Andrade going to Smackdown and possibly joining LWO
Raw is the longer show and the draft pool is bigger there so they wanted the basic ok here is a lot of people staying where they are at and a few call ups and then the big exciting half of the draft is on Raw with the larger draft pool taking up 3 hours of TV

Can somebody please explain to me why Liv Morgan is so beloved? I don’t dislike her, I just don’t get the hype. She’s got some personality and her mic skills have improved, but she’s still just okay in the ring. For context, I stopped watching WWE from HIAC 2019-RR 2023 so I missed what happened to make her so endearing. Please fill me in.
Underdog, she’s the last of her group the Riott Squad left when everyone left, she’s so positive and friendly that people are just drawn to her and naturally want to root for her. Her winning MITB was a big thing and especially beating Ronda Rousy twice. She’s also been tied to story of Rhea Ripley’s rise. They were a tag team while on the main roster before Liv was written off of TV by Rhea turning on her and joining Judgement Day. People love an underdog

I agree with Charlotte Flair...
I think its a lot about Bayley and Becky carrying the division for a solid amount of time and Sasha has so many bangers with the other two.
And that Charlotte is really good but she doesn't have the character development the others have, and although she did "lead the Four Horsewomen" in the call up to WWE if you found someone with solid charisma and great in ring work to round out the four horsewomen you could probably fill Charlotte's role the easiest.
