As a person whose father lived in Japan for some time long back, he still praises the architecture there and how it is safe for the people and protects them much from earthquakes. Lucky to have Ian safe.
I was also touring through Japan during that time, I was in the city Toyama when I felt a sudden shake and it progressively got more violent, after the earthquake I was rushed to a tsunami-safe building near a hill. It was very scary and I found out later that the Earthquake was a 7.6 or Shindo 5- Earthquake.
Wow I remember seeing that on the news and to know that Ian and his family were there it’s something very sad to think about. I’m so glad that you and your family are safe.❤🥹😌

I've been a fan since the "Ian the Japanese Teacher" days, and watching this video made me appreciate every little kind thing we do in life, such as holding the door for someone, or saying please and thank you. Praying that everyone affected in the earthquake are doing fine. Japan in my favorite country to visit plus the people are super nice. I'm going there in March so hope nothing will happen then.
