In short, yes, the S1 Pro is a big leap over the original S1. With its minimal bezels, stylish crown, all new MIUI operating system with an optimised User Interface and almost two-week battery life, the Watch S1 Pro definitely presents an intriguing proposition. But, if you’re at this price point and look at the competitors, then it’s in a though market to compete. It remains a closed OS, meaning that other apps cannot be installed. It has been reliable when delivering notifications, with plenty of text shown on the screen but unfortunately, not even quick replies are possible.

Can i check my phone's gallery on either on the s1 or the s1 pro?
On Xiaomi website it says that you have fast reply option...
I just bought a xiaomi watch s1 and i hate that it does not even have a notification icon or dot that signifies you have notifications. The cheaper redmi watch 3 has this and that is also owned by Xiaomi so I cannot understand this oversight on the s1. I saw the red dot on your s1 pro so I’m assuming that is the notification icon/dot?
Does it count climbing stairs? And does it show how much you climbed daily?
The only thing that has me considering this watch is the connectability to iOS other than the Apple Watch. But should I buy this over an Apple Watch SE? As an iPhone user that has a Google (smart)Home setup?

Well, it has NFC for payments if your bank support's Xiaomi Pay,very rare feature on Android smartwatches😬 And are you sure you can't reply to notications ?
