    I can't understand why the World of OUTLAWS has rules with that name. Outlaws dont follow rules by definition.
    Honesty I don't understandwhat the big deal is with tire doping. If they allow it this wouldn't be an issue. That or Hoosier needs to do everything to a tire grinding, grooving or whatever. But in the end the only way to keep people from breaking the rule, is not have the rule.

    I 100% agree that tires aren’t consistent. I work at a tire plant & we see it all the time. The mixed batch isn’t always the same on tread compounds. Sometimes you have more of one ingredient in one batch & not enough in the next. There is a lot of factors that go into the tire.

    Has any of the test results been made available to the drivers and do they include a comprehensive test analysis on what exactly was found that wasn’t supposed to be there?. They said they can tell what chemicals are being used and that these tests are so extensive that there no excuse basically then put it out there show the people what the evidence is. Put the fans drivers and crews at ease and show us this test is what they claim it is. That’s all. Until then I’m with you Hustle Man!

    Great video guys, I 100%agree with the need for batch and date code control for benchmarks. This technology is common in modern manufacturing and other process control. Also the packaging discussion. There is some investment and cost involved, but the manufacturer would benefit (plus they are VERY profitable). See ya soon at a local track!

    My son races asphalt sprint karts. The Hoosier tires that we buy, from the Hoosier trailer at the Rock Island Grand Prix, ARE serialized and bar coded. We have to record the tire serial numbers on the pre-race tech sheet. May not be applicable to this issue, but it may be. (?)

    Jason, you made a statement that caught my attention. If a team turns in tires to be resold, who's to say that that team didn't use tire dope. Then,resold to an unsuspecting team, and then they are accused of tire doping. There needs to be a no return clause, period.

    • @riverrat82
      @riverrat82 Před 6 měsíci

      I doubt those teams in question bought used tires hahaha

    • @johnhale9892
      @johnhale9892 Před 6 měsíci

      @riverrat82 That is not what Jason eluded to. He said that that tires were returned to the vendor. The only way that can be done is that they have to be unused tires. Jason was eluding to that what if a team returned inused tires to the Hoosier vendor, that quite possibly those tires may have been compromised by a chemical source known to change the molecular compound and were then resold to said teams that these compromised samples were taken. No one said anything about any of those teams bought used tires from anyone.

    • @johnhale9892
      @johnhale9892 Před 6 měsíci +1

      @shanebartrum I don't know. All this is allegedly and hypothetical. The reality is, is that 3 tires were doped and were off 3 different teams. Bobby Pierce, Kyle Bronson, and Devin Morran. Who knows how and why.
      It happened, and 3 teams got busted for the tire infraction.
      The truth? Well, that remains to be heard by said teams. Denial and admittance are two different actions.

    I didn’t know this as a race fan they’ll let you take tires and then give them back that sounds real risky. I didn’t know you could do that so you’re telling me that someone could be soaking their tires at Aldora, and a bunch of people got busted and they can go to Hoosier and say oh I don’t need these tires. I need some new ones, I’m using more of these than this. They shouldn’t not allow that at all that’s what happened somebody turn these tires back in and now some team got them come on why would one big team want to do this knowing that they’re testing for samples like I said, somebody could walk up and spray your guises tires and you wouldn’t even know it.

    Those entities selling this stuff should be banned from tracks. Police the pits to keep those vendors away. Again, as I stated a couple of minutes ago, there should be a no tire return policy. Don't purchase any tires from any teams. Those who use anything to alter tire compound will then be stuck with their tainted tires. Hoosier should never buy back any tires without testing said tires. The Hoosier tire vendors need to be held accountable, too. Just a thought.

    Kinda random but for a person who probably can’t relate to this imagine getting a random drug test at work and you get a phone call saying hey man you tested positive for this and that. And you know good and well you’ve never done any type of drugs. I strongly think it’s similar with this the labs are constantly testing substances that are illegal and if that testing equipment isn’t cleaned thoroughly when they test something else that will pop dirty. I would say that’s a possibility, but they are saying the 3rd batch was sent somewhere else and tested if I understood Brian Carter correctly. So then I really don’t know.

    I’m not saying that the 3 drivers are innocent or not but there is no way that it was a manufacturer error of the tire because in the process of the tire making the tire does no come across or come close to the “chemical” that they are saying was used to make the tire fail the test, meaning that the tire came across this chemical after it was out of the manufacturer hands.
