AA wireless works well for me in my Audi Q5 although I cannot connect both Audi Connect and AAWireless same time so just got the AAWireless connected, one thing I would like to see them do in future is the ability to charge your phone wireless because on a long journey using AAwireless and your mobile the phone will lose power quickly
I’ve got a simple technical question… or maybe I’m just dumb. Since AA doesn’t use the USB / WiFi connection for calls (and Navigation prompts?) the BT Handsfree is still connecting to the Sync directly even when the phone is actually BT wise connected to AAWireless Adapter … right?
I've got Aawireless connected to my sync3 and my Poco f3. It's generally great and connects quickly however it can randomly disconnect but then auto reconnect. I'm not sure why this is although I was reading on xda about WiFi interference might be causing it. I need to raise some posts on xda and with the Aawireless team to see if there is a fix.
Chris (guy in the video) and I were chatting that he used to have these issues but new firmware updates really stabilized it. I want to get my hands on one myself to try it out more.
@NaviUpgrade and there are some that do both... and add WIFi hotspot powered by mobile 4G. One cool thing you can do with this is changing your DPi to add split screen functionality to AA, which isn't otherwise available on the SYNC 3 screen.
@NaviUpgrade I've been testing a few different ones with various features and at different price points. Some are clearly better than others in terms of performance but also privacy. I have one I consider the clear winner, save for a couple of software glitches which the manufacturer hopes to have resolved in 2 weeks or less. If the expected update is good to go I will share specifics broadly. If you want to have a voice conversation in the meantime, HMU on FBM.

hey guys, which is the best and most reliable dongle right now for apple carplay with Sync’s 3x units?
I'm not a CarPlay user so I don't know, I'm sorry 😔

yes thats right
Will this work with sync 2 system for my 2014 Lincoln MKX?
No this is for units that have mirroring via Android Auto enabled

yeah the working theory is wifi interference, I only notice random disconnects in areas where there's lots of networks
What is the module being used for the AAwireless
It's literally called AAWireless 🙂
@@NaviUpgrade lol thanks, wasent sure if that was just a generic name for them or the actual brand name lol
Does the module allow wireless airplay? That’s the only thing it does?
There's another one that does CarPlay the same way!

@@ThomMurphy I need to get my hands on one of these 👀

Did you end up testing out the fixes? What device would compete with the AAWireless used in this video?
So much want!
