Bonnie used to love Joe but since he became disabled, she started to hate him due to always having to care for him. She is a great cook, but feels like she doesn’t want to cook for Joe anymore, so she just gets simple boring foods, if he complains, then they argue and it’ll make it easier for them to divorse.
This is why I hate how the later seasons have transformed Joe. He use to be a guy who despite his disability,he was still fun,outgoing and not afraid to stand up for himself (pun intended) now he's just a sadsack who won't even talk back to his wife who is obviously hateful towards him.
