When it was decided that Hornsby would not be playing the role of Mac did they already have the character or idea of Cricket created or was that something they worked on specially for Hornsby to be on the show, Also The character of Cricket, did they know right from the beginning how his character would develop throughout the series and his extreme downfall or is it something that just developed over time, Like Charlie and Dee getting him Sell coke in this episode and that being the final push of the life he use to have being gone forever

Yeah it’s kinda upsetting. Not only is it uncommon for them all to be in an entire episode now, but I’d love for them to be in the same room. The connection they had together there is unmatched. Now they barely record an episode where they are each present.
@@AaronBowley There are plenty of podcasters who are famous or busy. I know we aren’t guaranteed the podcast and I don’t take it for granted. But when throughout an episode they are exiting the room and one is absent then the next episode the other is absent and so on. Megan is the only person present in the episodes and she put in all this work, yet they can’t set aside at least an hour a week? I know they’re very busy, but it just seems like they don’t wanna do it anymore and if they don’t want to do it I would rather them not feel obligated to do it.
I really like this element of the podcast and I hope it doesn’t get too fancy in their new studio. The most fun I have is listening to them shoot the shit and rib each other about nothing in particular.

I think robs idea to unearth some deleted scenes is great. You could give Megan access to the old footage and that way you would all see it for the first time in years and would be interesting to hear your thoughts, you could even dedicate a whole episode to it and If shes given enough time to source the material I reckon it would become the most popular episode so far

When it comes to how the mob works in the real world, I’ve always loved Larry Lawton’s channel on CZcams. He was a big time jewel thief back in the 90s, got caught, and went to prison to 12 years. Now he does work supporting prison reform and uses his channel to share his experiences with organized crime. Lots of great info on the New York mob scene!
I'm surprised they didn't mention that the one gangster with the pompadour passed away. They were probably my favorite side characters. Woulda liked to have seen them come back for another episode or two.

One of my favorite lines all time is from this episode. It’s at the end where Mac wants to get in the car and Dennis is like,”we can not have you sca rewing things up for us.” The delivery is amazing

When he's told he has to put on weight, I'd imagine Charlie would stuff a couple of dumbbells in his pockets and start grabbing some weight plates and duct tape.
Back in high school (02-06) we would use "going on AOL" as slang for smoking the electric lettuce. That started because of the free trial discs and someone showed up with a couple small nugs in one of the sleeves.

A manager I had in Philly at a sandwich shop in 2001 was definitely in the witness protection program. He was an Italian guy named "Jerry", about 50 with tattoos up and down his arms and chest and he didn't really worry about the things the other managers did, like getting everything right so corporate would be pleased. He knew his job was secure. The way he talked, his attitude, everything told me he was a gangster and he was actually cool as hell. I always joked, semi-seriously that he must be a gangster in witness protection. He would laugh but it was not like he denied it, ever. I was leaving the state and when I left the job and it was my last day working with him he said to me "Hey Brett, you know that stuff you were saying about who I am? You might just be right." I left it at that because you can't really get much more of an affirmation.
Rob, allowing us to see scenes that got cut would be a very loving gift. Talking about them would be fun too. If there’s a way of having them put back in and made into extended episodes…well, I’d rebuy the episodes. I would buy them because they add too the it’s always sunny world regardless of being the funniest pieces or what not. You guys are awesome! Thank you
I really feel like this podcast is going to contribute to the best Sunny episodes to come. It's fun to see you guys fuck around and dissect the process, cause and effect and all that, I think that's going to translate to what's in store for future episodes. Also I drive to work listening/watching and the complaining is in line with my own version of champaign problems. Just vibing and commiserating with the gang man.
There's a great video on CZcams of "Nic Cage's Agent" pitching potential projects to him, but they're increasingly more ridiculous as it goes on... but he says yes to everything.
Goodfellas is the best gangster movie for sure. Anytime I hear a helicopter I have to put the music(no headphones)on my phone from the chase scene and act paranoid. It plays pretty well downtown with the cracksmoking folks.
Man what’s crazy about the opening of this episode is I can’t stop thinking about how good Rob looks. I feel like he looks better then he ever has, guy is aging so well. Then he starts talking about how he doesn’t look good and I am so confused. You’re looking good man!
Talking about going back and looking at scenes that got edited, but cut for time... You could always make some superfan episodes! The Office has been doing that recently, where they take some of the fan favorite episodes, add back in all of the things they cut for time, and re release it as an extended cut of that episode basically. I think a lot of us fans would LOVE to see Sunny do something of that nature!

It hits some people harder than others. If you have a good sleep schedule, jet lag is bad. For someone like me who has a terrible sleep schedule, it’s less noticeable.
Might also be that the team he owns wasn’t successful in the promotion playoff, going from such a high to such a low then jumping on a long haul flight doesn’t sound fun
Maybe a Gang's director's cut adding the scene that were good but had to be cut to fit on the running time. Streaming/youtube are not limited by TV runtime. As long it makes artistic sense and generate money - Megan has to champagne.

When it comes to how the mob works in the real world, I’ve always loved Larry Lawton’s channel on CZcams. He was a big time jewel thief back in the 90s, got caught, and went to prison to 12 years. Now he does work supporting prison reform and uses his channel to share his experiences with organized crime. Lots of great info on the New York mob scene!
I'm surprised they didn't mention that the one gangster with the pompadour passed away. They were probably my favorite side characters. Woulda liked to have seen them come back for another episode or two.

Back in high school (02-06) we would use "going on AOL" as slang for smoking the electric lettuce. That started because of the free trial discs and someone showed up with a couple small nugs in one of the sleeves.

A manager I had in Philly at a sandwich shop in 2001 was definitely in the witness protection program. He was an Italian guy named "Jerry", about 50 with tattoos up and down his arms and chest and he didn't really worry about the things the other managers did, like getting everything right so corporate would be pleased. He knew his job was secure. The way he talked, his attitude, everything told me he was a gangster and he was actually cool as hell. I always joked, semi-seriously that he must be a gangster in witness protection. He would laugh but it was not like he denied it, ever. I was leaving the state and when I left the job and it was my last day working with him he said to me "Hey Brett, you know that stuff you were saying about who I am? You might just be right." I left it at that because you can't really get much more of an affirmation.
This episode has my favorite Dennis line delivery ever. While talking to bozo Mac he exclaims; "WE CAN NOT HAVE YOU AROUND US SCREEWING THINGS UPPP!"
Rob, allowing us to see scenes that got cut would be a very loving gift. Talking about them would be fun too. If there’s a way of having them put back in and made into extended episodes…well, I’d rebuy the episodes. I would buy them because they add too the it’s always sunny world regardless of being the funniest pieces or what not. You guys are awesome! Thank you

I really feel like this podcast is going to contribute to the best Sunny episodes to come. It's fun to see you guys fuck around and dissect the process, cause and effect and all that, I think that's going to translate to what's in store for future episodes. Also I drive to work listening/watching and the complaining is in line with my own version of champaign problems. Just vibing and commiserating with the gang man.
There's a great video on CZcams of "Nic Cage's Agent" pitching potential projects to him, but they're increasingly more ridiculous as it goes on... but he says yes to everything.

Goodfellas is the best gangster movie for sure. Anytime I hear a helicopter I have to put the music(no headphones)on my phone from the chase scene and act paranoid. It plays pretty well downtown with the cracksmoking folks.

Never traveled far enough to experience jetlag myself, is it really that bad?
It hits some people harder than others. If you have a good sleep schedule, jet lag is bad. For someone like me who has a terrible sleep schedule, it’s less noticeable.
The "secret" if you will is to exercise to get yourself tired during "prior" wake hours.
Might also be that the team he owns wasn’t successful in the promotion playoff, going from such a high to such a low then jumping on a long haul flight doesn’t sound fun
It’s tolerable, but very annoying, especially when you have to work.
