If Kyrie *or* James don’t get hurt in the 2021 playoffs, the Nets have a championship and people don’t say anything about how the Nets made a mistake by blowing up Allen’s Nets. Respect to that team Allen was on, but the Nets traded for superstar talent and were on a direct trajectory to a NBA Championship. The Nets traded that “culture” to dominate the eventual champs until James and Kyrie got hurt. Injuries and a pandemic (who saw that coming?) prevented the Nets from winning a title. Championships are hard to win! Can’t blame the Nets for trying to capitalize on the culture that was built. They also weren’t wrong.

He’s right smh ever since nets came here it’s been experiment EVERY year!!! The Jarret Allen team was IT!!! We need culture badly in our already cultured borough in NYC!!

If Kenny comes back the Culture can come back. Kenny's good with development and the main reason for DLo's All Star year. Maybe he could set Ben Simmons straight 🤷‍♂️

Honestly we were better off giving another 1st and keeping allen or not doing the trade at all. Finding something else for lavert

Lifelong Cavs fan here. JA is such an obviously awesome dude, that he became my favorite player on the team very rapidly. Never owned an NBA jersey in my life, but now I own two JA jerseys

The nets were nice af when he was there… maybe with ONE superstar added they could’ve been a problem

Just image if the Nets weren’t incompetent and they veto the Harden trade. They would have Allen and Claxton as their bigs. They could have e trade Levert, Dinwiddie or both for more vet pieces but should have kept Allen.

I always thought the Nets would have been better off keeping Allen instead of going after Harden. They had a championship team

Kevin Durants don’t grow on trees , especially for New York’s step child. They did the right thing going for the big 3 .. they also completely mismanaged those superstars once acquired.

imagine seeing Harden's antics over the years and thinking he's gonna put you over the top.

As a nets fan I wished we kept that team together. If anything just sign kd and not kyrie and d jordan

After this happened it slowly got harder for me to care about the Nets anymore. They lost me after they did this

They should’ve kept the guys with kd and kyrie they were good and had a deep squad

I'm a nets fan and wanted to Keep JA. DJ was well past his prime. Plus the assets we got from Cleveland didn't turn into anything. All we got was a disgruntled James Harden.😢

What happened with the Nets it's in the past. They are building the culture in Cleveland now and have a lot to prove, cause last year's effort in the Knicks series from Cavs was really bad. Them boys looked scared.
