How to Trigger your Bass Drum for EXTREME Metal Music

- I recently decided to switch from using my Roland KD-140 kick drum trigger to triggering my acoustic bass drum to get the acoustic feel and to be able to hit higher speeds more consistently.
This is a run through of how I set up and triggered my acoustic bass drum - essentially turning it into an electronic drum. I'm putting this on youtube to help others who are thinking of doing something like this and need a reference or whatever. Like, comment, subscribe!

Cool. Thanks for sharing
Need to have more time to re-convert one of my acoustic kits into an e-kit but for now this is my kit: czcams.com/video/8aaWg0iHOwM/video.html
Cool cover dude!
can someone explain wtf is trigger ? i see like the trigger support the peddal or what?
Here's a video named A "Proper" Explanation Of Drum Triggers by CZcamsr 66Samus.
I think it should answer your question better than if I tried to explain it with text.
It tells you what triggers are, how they work and what you can do with them outside of what people generally use them for.
Cheers from France! 🍻

Triggers turn vibrations into electronic signals that you can relay through a module to produce a sound. There's lots of videos on CZcams that explain what a drum trigger is. Personally I like the one by samus.
In metal(or any other music)if you want consistent even hits and not some hits louder than others, use a trigger. Very effective on double bass kicks. Great setup mate!
