Nicely done! I have been stumbling around with the spectrum display but you got it all sorted out in less than 8 minutes! I can't remember ever buying something for so little that can do so much! Thanks again, de W1AEX

Useful to another pair of dual banders one on VHF the other on UHF
connected to a RC108 repeater box put on a high spot giving you cross band repeat

Isn‘t crossband rx in one band and tx in the other? So it works in simplex with exactly one partner who sets up crossband frequencies in the opposite way. Or am I completely off now?

You are right @twr4641. On a out of the box Quansheng it goes like this: Example: On both UV-k5 radios set channel A on 433.000 and Channel B to 466.000. On one radio set the receive focus on radio 1 to channel A and on radio 2 set the receive focus to channel B. So now radio 1 receives on band 433.000 and the radio 2 on band 466.000. Now one radio 1 goto the WX setting in the menu and set it to channel A. On radio two set the WX setting to channel B. So now if you TX on radio 1(433.000), radio 2 will recieve the TX from radio 1 (433.000) on 466.000. And the other way around. not easy to explain it his way, but it works.

@@daytona1212 Not much point to doing that, put one on say 144.6 VHF
and the other on say 440 UHF to provide maximum isolation and then connect
two more through a RC108 repeater box, on those freqs, put them high up
and talk through. then your handys will have the range of the pair with the box
