I suffer anxiety, depression, lack of freedom, physical pains, despair, and sadness for years. I tried many things in terms of medication and therapists and ways and processes, and nothing really works, and then i can’t and don’t want to do anything at all. How can i control and manage myself? The main problem is that sadghru a lot of times doesn’t tell us the method or the way to do things, he just talks about the results. Other major problem is that the steps seem to be complex, unclear, unspecified, hard, not lucid, confusing, and overwhelming. So can anyone help?

I think Sadhguru is misunderstanding the teachings of “The Power of the Now”. It doesn’t encourage you to forget the past nor future endeavors, but simply learn from the past, so you don’t experience depression & not to project so much into the future because that causes anxiety. Sadhguru, himself just confirmed. The only place to live is the NOW! When we think about the past, we are doing it now & when we think about the future, we’re doing it in the now. Eckhart Tolle is simply saying to become friendly with the present moment because so many of us either live in the past or anxious about the future. We are hardly in the present moment. In fact, some of us want to get away from the present moment. He’s saying, when you make the now your friend & become aware of it, anything you do going forward will fall into place beautifully.
