- A MASSIVE UPDATE IS COMING FOR SQUAD TOMORROW! New VEHICLES, new FACTION UNITS, NEW missile and ATGM mechanics, plenty of gameplay updates and bug fixes! This is Squad 8.0 that will be released tomorrow and we're covering the patch notes for the update. We'll break down the vehicles and units you should expect to see being added along with gameplay updates and plenty more!

Im really glad they are finally fixing up TLF at least a little bit. Player models are now way nicer looking. I still hope to see the leopard and Kirpi in the future though. Just like how they get HAT for air assault, maybe they can get the leopard for combined arms and armoured units.
They did get a new Heli! So I guess we’ll see!
New Turkish uniforms, UH-60s and Carl Gustavs? T-90s? Reducing recoil? Decreasing vehicle recovery times? Reducing the blye for the Chinese marines? GLs? Bug fixes? This update is pretty much everything people were bugging OWL about. So hyped for this update!
I think there's some really nice QoL type of updates here. Plenty more to do, but another chunk of stuff added/done!

We are getting AFU, because our Ukie Squad community basically overrun voting for the next faction on Twitter. That being said, being ukie myself, I would vote for Japs/Deutch, because we either get more Pacific theatre stuff (in case of Japs), and some unique assets. Getting AFU, while my two family members are AFU servicemen right now is awkward.
The Squad game needs to be updated to include weapon sounds or the sounds of distant clashes

Atmospheric battle noises. Like distant off map artillery and gunfire. To improve immersion and like your fighting in a bigger battle.
Well now every faction will be using indirect fire of 40mm grenades. Especially veteran players from project reality will exploit this new armament in this update.

they say upgraded armour for the t90 but its still two shot rack from front one shot rack from tow and 4 shot kill if rack not hit soo i really dun understand what they mean by upgraded armour issit against at because standard tandem does 50-60 percent damage.
Not really sure until I get a chance to mess around with it.. we'll see!

The Mk prefix is pronounced "mark". Mk19 = Mark 19.

The new Bradly without the tow is so pointless I hate that they are adding more tracked logies hate them with a passion
Do you know how many vehicles use the same exact main gun as the Bradley, and don't have TOWs? They aren't pointless. Consider Redfor, PAC or Ind. vehicles that don't have ATGMs.. they aren't pointless and many of those are tracked..
I just know if the Armored group got two Brads with TOWs, plus two abrams.. everyone would be upset about that.
@@Slay3Kilo so you have situations were you would rather have the new Bradly over the old one? It’s a downgrade in every way considering most of the factions it will fight will have tows….my point has nothing to do with the 25mm gun just the fact it can’t take out tanks if your tank squad happens to lose against the enemy tank(s)
@@Slay3Kilo I can also only think of one other tracked Vic that has the 25mm and that’s turkey and ghat was recently, the British use a 30mm and all the others are wheeled so I’m not sure what you mean by many Vic’s have it when only 2 tracked ones do lol
