    Actually, its good enough for commercial use. I’ve used it for Real Estate, inspection and events. No one has ever said, “oh, I don’t like it, you didn’t use a Mavic Pro”. You really have to pixel peep in order to see the difference. I sold my Mavic 3 Pro because I do not use it.

      As a mavic 3 pro owner and mini 3 pro owner, the mavic 3 pro is way out of the mini 4 pro league. Sure I don't have the mini 4 pro, but that's just a mini 3 pro with 360 ao. The mini 3 pro is fine as it is cause I don't need 360 ao. The mavic 3 pro gets use more often cause it can withstand higher winds and better quality videos, better night time recording, zoom in from higher.

    I made the great decision to get myself the DJI Mini 4 pro and wow I love it. It is the first drone I have ever owned and I'm glad about that because the safety sensors have saved me more than once. I was a bit hesitant at first because it cost near to $2000 with extra batteries etc but after taking the risk and buying it I must say you get what you pay for and this drone has it all. You would have to work hard to crash this thing. So far I couldn't speak more highly about it 👍

    Purchased my Mini 4 Pro Plus Combo the moment it released. I concur with your assessment. My first drone was the Phantom 2 Vision+. $1359 for the drone with RC, 2 batteries, & charger. The performance & feature set you get with the Mini 4 Pro is outstanding. It is my personal favorite of the 13 different DJI drones I own.

    First of all, I liked and subscribed. My first drone was a HS 360 which crashed too many times, RIP. I am on the edge of just buying this amazing drone! The cinematic, slow mo reminds me of a Frank Darabont production. Is flight time ok? Omni Directional Avoidance is everything to me... too many Evergreen trees hit from the past! Thank you for this great video.

    @jbug4570 Před 2 měsíci +1

    Thanks for the good review. I’ve been thinking of a drone for some time now, but held off because I’m a first timer, not sure what to buy. The job is to over see cattle on pasture, monitor water holes and fences on a few thousand acres. River valley with lots of trees - northern Canada. DJI mini 4 looks like a good choice.

    • @AppleTechMaster8
      @AppleTechMaster8 Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah, it really is. And since you say you are "a first timer", the Air 3 or Mavic 3 Pro might not be the best choice. Since they are over 250g, you will have to get them registered to fly in public spaces. While registering, you will take a flying test, and since you are a beginner, you don't want to risk failing the flying test and not getting your license, so just go for the Mini 4 Pro. It's like under £690 and you are still better than a Phantom 4 Advanced, plus no registration required. I'll just give you a piece of advice, NEVER buy the DJI FPV😂.

    is upgrading to mini 4 pro worth it? I have dji mini 3 standard (non pro), it doesn't have obstacle avoidance so I got used to not flying to close

  • @AppleTechMaster8
    @AppleTechMaster8 Před 2 měsíci +6

    I have two drones: the Mavic 3 Pro and the Mini 4 Pro. The Mini 4 Pro is so small and light that, whenever I go out, I can take both my Mavic 3 Pro and my spare Mini 4 Pro to use if the Mavic battery runs out. I think both these drones are SIMPLY AMAZING, and when reviewing the footage side-by-side, there is not that much of a difference. I only got the Mavic 3 Pro because the Mini 4 Pro is 35mph, and the Mavic 3 Pro is 47mph, which could be useful for tracking fast moving animals or vehicles, plus the Hasselblad camera system is very good at recording videos with lots of movement without to much motion blur, maintaining a crisp and clear video in every frame, but honestly, if you are on a budget, just go for the Mini 4 Pro. Only £690 and it's really the best Mavic 3 Pro alternative, and you are still getting 4K 60fps, and all the safety features like obstacle avoidance.

    • @morrish044
      @morrish044 Před 2 měsíci +1

      I agree. I think the Air 3 is like a blend between the Mini 4 Pro and the Mavic 3 Pro: two cameras, 360 degree obstacle avoidance, higher top speed, and O4 transmission.

    • @AppleTechMaster8
      @AppleTechMaster8 Před 2 měsíci

      True, but personally, I prefer the Mavic 3 Pro. It is too luxurious, very premium, and a pleasure to fly. P.S I don't actually own an Air 3, I've only flown my friends one, so I might be automatically drawn to my own drones because I own them and I can fly them whenever I want.@@morrish044

      @@NickBr4ndon True, also, if you have a drone over 250g (like the Mavic 3 Pro), you need get registration for it and get a flying license, which requires a flying test, and some people might fail the test, whereas with the Mini 4 Pro (

    • @actn376
      @actn376 Před měsícem

      I e just done the test, it’s pretty easy. Glad I have got for the mini pro 4 as it can be used almost anywhere. Being in a city it would be pretty difficult to stay at least 50m away from people.
      Something that is not clear is using follow modes whilst cycling. The rules say you can fly a drone whilst performing an activity like cycling, technically the drone would be driving itself in follow mode but you are still responsible for keeping people safe so a bit of a grey area.
      The test is easy enough, mostly common sense and multiple choice as well.
      I assume if you go beyond a1 to a3 the tests get tougher but I guess they are for commercial use.

      I don't believe DJI will get banned. So yes, in my opinion it's a great buy. I don't personally think the plus batteries are such a necessity as the weight becomes over 250gr. and you get a ton of battery life with the regular 3 batteries too. So yeah - go for it!
