Getting JV reminds me of when the lakers had Marc Gasol. It doesn’t work with Lebron and AD needing to get their easy buckets around the rim. Please just get a lob threat and a rim protector. The Dwight/Javale combo was the perfect fit for AD and Lebron

I think Grant is someone who's perfect as being that third guy in the offense and someone who's 6'7-6'8 and hold his own against bigger sfs he's known to be a great defender and can obviously score. So he's a 2 way wing and very valuable. My only issue is his big contract. He's also 30 but that's not that bad. I think It'd be a pickup if we pulled it off

Remember when some1 on the lakers bench had AD/CWood/Heyes on the floor for some reason, the lineup somehow worked and Darvin never tried to do it again to see if it was a fluke or a legit rotation.
Against the clippers, we were down 20 that game, then we came back with that lineup on the court, a matter of fact, it was CW, Hayes, AD and Bron. Then the next game dumb ass darvin benched CW and Hayes to play small ball and got blown out 🤡

The Lakers need to bring back D-Lo, Draft a point gaurd like Carter to play backup & sign a big like Valanciunas or Goga. Then package Gabe, JHS & 1 of Hayes or Wood along with a first & look for a good wing player. If we can stay healthy were a dangerous team with a few minor upgrades

Ceramic is too expensive and would hard cap us. I like Dejounte I think Atlanta will trade with another team as they don't want dlo. And I think dlo will eventually take the option. Lakers need reliable talent in the frontcourt. They don't need Murray. He's never been in this situation and last thing this team needs is another Westbrook situation bc a guy doesn't like his role. Bc him taking 20+ shots is not a recipe for winning. Rather see Max evolve into the lineup. Bigger, more athletic and already has chemistry with the guys. Even Mays showed skills as a playmaker. DLo should be replaced unless JJ can introduce some meta offense that can keep DLo comfortable and efficient. They were missing 3 key guys in the frontcourt for half a season. And they were one of the best scoring teams despite not having an extravagant system to rely on. Find some strong Centers, keep AD at the 4 all year with situational moments with him at the 5. Lakers just gotta get bigger in the frontcourt and stay healthy with mostly the same core minus Dlo if any changes

I think the Lakers should draft one of these:
Tyler Smith, Jaylon Tyson or Pacome Dadiet. All have some deficiencies in their game but this draft is good for finding role players. Tyson is the most well rounded, 3 years in college. The other two are 19 and 18 years old. I have a feeling the Lakers will go for Kelel Ware or Yves Missi, both are centers. I like Adem Bona and Nikola Djurisic, both projected second round picks. Probably need to buy into the early part of the second round (34-40) for these two players.

Jerami Grant is like a slightly lesser version of Anunoby - excellent defensively, versatile, can be 3rd or 4th option scoring, but in my opinion both players are too expensive for what they provide, and they are both a bit injury-prone and not super dependable

It could be smoke but I feel like unless a better trade deal pops up, Coach Reddick has already thought about it, talked to and has made plans for Rui on the roster this season.
He doesn't do the things kuzma did, he doesn't rebound well, he doesn't pass well, and he doesn't play good defense and he only wants to shot so he's basically a one trick pony in a team he doesn't fit with to be a starter
We just need a center. And we need Vando healthy. Hes shooting is so so. But he can push the ball and he can pass. He’s a real go cutter. JJ just needs to let the role players know they are important and empower them. And we good. All this rebuild the team every year is played out. Just get right and everyone ball.
Gotta bring back C-Wood and actually use him. He should be the Center and get a decent backup big.
