- I wanted to film a repaint on one of these guys. I kept the colorscheme simple and classic. I played Necrons back in the day before all of the crazy colorful characters and Dynasties. Old School. Let me know what you think in the comments. You can follow me here:

First time I've fully watch a customizing/painting video, man! That finished product looks PREMIUM.
This takes me back to your old videos man!! In my opinion you are the top 1 best customizer in the game
Thank you! I have some more videos in the works.
Blinded by daylight is top tier also...check him out
A tutorial on hand brushing would be cool. I really like painting with a brush but always get poor results. I can never seem to find the proper amount of thinning or whether I need a wet or dry brush. Amazing video as always. A true master.
Thanks! It can vary for what you’re painting, but best advice is always multiple thin coats.
So hype to see your back uploading on here
I’m excited to make more videos.
gooood
Very satisfying to watch you paint this
Came out super sick!
One of the most understand masterpiece , great job man
Incredible work, really hope to see another.
Also, could you please list the music used?
dude, sick video and repaint! very enjoyable to watch. I repainted one of these fellas myself, did it in bronze with some blue oxidation. would love to see more McFarlane 40K repaints from you.
Where did you find the music to play in the background?
Looked good, a pleasure to watch you work.
Good job! I like it!👍🏻
Awesome!!!!!!
I really like the way this turned out. Can you provide a list of the paints and colours you used, please?
I second this motion.
I have a necromancer flayer figure I really want to paint but not sure how to go about it just yet like how to disassemble for primer
Wish yo sold your work. I would love to buy one of these off of you as inspiration and courage to work on my other figures. Got the whole kit and paints a year and half ago. Sanded and prepped one of three as well. Just haven't started on the first step to a new skill. I know I can blend the paints to make my own and have thinned out and painted other art projects as a kid, just not on plastic
Your pretty good man. I once made a big mistake ... opened the warhammer 40 000 big rule book ( hard copy ) and I never used a blade or scissors but once I had a opening I pulled on it to hard and the plasitc wrap got so tight ... it started to tear the cover of the book :( o well it now has noob character and il be sure to calm down when opening any more packages lol thanks for sharing man
Would love to see you paint a Necron Warrior from the Makhiban dynasty. Aka the bloody and gorey ones
The difference paint makes, especially when applied by someone who knows what they're doing, still astounds me. Great job. Love the foursome at the end. How about a Flayed One?
Awesome
Wicked dude you started watch the whole thing I got a terminator and Metallo feel what was the based color you started with and what was the green this looks awesome
Necrons don't rust. Necrodermus is not steel nor an iron-based material.
Hi just came across your video . Love it. Thank you for painting with brushes. Too many of figure painting videos use airbrushes. Which many can't afford or don't like using. So once again love the video. U just got a new subscriber
I love watching paintjobs come together at the end! And what chrome is that? It looked great even after a single coat.
That’s a Vallejo Game Chainmail I’ve been using for my knights.
New subscriber. U took it to Dope level. Real like Jesse James and raw. Did u use all acrylics I’d like to paint my own?
what hsppened no more new uploads hope your doing fine brother
What is this chrome paint you're using? and also, is there a gold counterpart?
Do you need to use some kind of primer on it first or can you just paint directly on the plastic?
And do you need to use some kind of clear coat finish on it?
And is that enamel or acrylic you’re using?
he's using Vallejo acrylics in this video, very common for painting miniatures. As for primer, im not certain, but i think the initial layer he brushed on is his primer layer
Your Aunt Dorothy and I are good friends, known each other since 10th grade.
Anyhow, she turned me on to your art and CZcams channel. I don’t have Instagram otherwise I'd follow you. I only have FB.
Your work is great! So talented.
I'm wondering...I'm a big Beatles fan...could you make figures of The Beatles from SgtPepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band?
Amazing work man i was on the fence with this line, but man! Really looks hella fun to try! Painting one, Question tho, did you have any Trouble removing the Limbs of the figure?
question, what kind of paint you used?
beautiful work. I'm really surprised to see you hand brushing on the initial layer. Does blowing it with the hair dryer help with the durability, since the mcfarlane plastic is so soft?
can you show us how you make the armor for the dark souls figures? are they 3d printed?
can you do your version of the hunter from bloodborne? that would be fire with your amazing skills
Question! When making your custom superman one (one of your first video) in sculpting him did you brush black wash all over him then paint the blue and the red etc? Or was that something else and if so how long did you let it dry I would love to kjow
Yeah! I’ll also use a hairdryer to speed up drying between coats.
@@GregSarabiaArt hank you
You don't need to prime coat him, do you ?
Great paint job, but there's something that bothers me about the McFarlane necron sculpt. Can't quite put my finger on it
They're all kind of cartoony and stylized, which bugs me too, but it's better than nothing lol. I wished they were based off a specific art style like we see in the codex or promotional images rather than these 'toy' looking sculpts.
@@GregSarabiaArt They're doing fine with the space marines, but they kind of botched the necrons and Orks. And it's hard to screw up the orks. They should be the most fun to design
are you selling ?
email me gregsarabiaart@gmail.com I have some available.
Great watch, make some more vids, ive just subrscribed! -Battlemonkey-
i'd love to see ya show what paint you're using before applying. that'd be awesome!
Doesn't it have to have be painted already to call it a "repainting".... This is a toy you buy that needs to be painted.
That’s a good point, out of all the ones I painted, this was the only Artist Proof that was “unpainted”
Where can I get me one of these figures
