Geez, this is priceless footage. Thank you for sharing. To my tastes, this is one of the very best rock bands working right now. And despite all the hustle, it seems like they still love what they do. Absurdly good.
This is a really good performance, and thanks again for sharing. The vocal harmonies are not perfect, but that's what makes them perfect! This is a group with no tracks or digital trickery, and they are killing it, night after night.
I went to Google Street View to check out the location - curious hearing the train go by. I looked at the business sign to see what bands were playing lo and behold topping the list was "The Beths." Captured in time Aug 23 and will be there until the next time the streetview car drives by.
My first exposre to the Beths was around November 23 and here i am completely enfutuaited with them for 2 months only to find out they had played my favorite hometown venue of Beachlamd Ballroom on aug1st. Now seeing this set list I die a litte bit inside...Liz Stokes is a genius
Damn. I saw they were opening for some bigger band in Detroit and I didn't wanna fork up the cash. This seems like it woulda been more intimate and cheaper! Darn, hope I catch em next time
