wow it really went 3-0? so much show for what.... this is why fighting game genre is way better, there you can see real finals being taking place in a very close call matches.
The moment at 2:14 when the box progressively opens and it reveals the cup, the lighting , the build-up in the music with the violins and the audience cheering... haa goosebumps.

Mohamed Aissa (The following is a personal view of this years open ceremony) I think it's kind of bad or if u want to say boring this year xd very first thing we all should notice that the stage isn't as big as 2017 n 2018s stage. I love Phoenix but all the other songs are just too quiet it doesn't really fit the leagues style and the strong feeling when u listen to it.

@@uniquerod52 The venue was a tricky one, the weather at the time was not suitable for an open top stadium since it was autumn/winter and unlike in Asia where it's warmer. People would be in an open top stadium in Paris freezing with the chance of rain. They also had to find a big enough indoor stadium that was available for the time.
They found AccorHotels Arena and that must of been the most suitable stadium that could be booked at the time.
And then there's rise
yeah the kda one kinda flopped but hopefully they either make a super cool kda one with the baddest or do something else really cool

@@elriaastryder2430 I remember back to 2017 when she performed live Legends Never Die and everyone was like: That doesnt sound like the original one. So i was kinda suprised Riot wanted Chrissy back. This year she showed how much she improved since 2017. Dont get me wrong, 2017 was good in my opinion, I just know that many were a bit disappointed.
The singing was really good however i dont think that the audio was balanced well enough in the live performance since they sounded a bit bland, also they couldve been louder
She did great this year! And I really like her voice. Still don't get what's the thing with her bending back creepily all the time tho xD
They literally had the full audio playing from the original song (at least as soon as Chrissy's part came up) and her voice was way too quiet to even say that she did 'amazing'. They basically sang on top of the studio version. The other girl's voice was louder, so Riot probably knew they couldnt turn Chrissy's voice up that high after her legends never die performance...not trying to be mean, that's just my impression
Imagine coming back to 2011 and told Riot Games that 8 years later their world championship final would look like this...

Phoenix is more inspirational and has more motivation just not in the game but in real life conquering your fears and regrets is this song all about in otherhand Rise is more a hype ans grind motivation song which is also great me personally like those kind of music and type of genre, but Phoenix has more heart and emotional side on it looking on Faker, Caps, and Rookie's stories on how they will get past and learn from there choke plays and anxiety and regrets which is hard to overcome with people's and viewers hoping so much to you can't imagine the pressure they going thru. Still both songs are great and well composed best motivational songs to climb up the league ladder hope i can experience this kind competitiveness.

I don't think I have ever sat down and thought about how much effort the Riot team actually put to their music and Performances. It's pretty incredible.
You can tell Chrissy is much more comfortable singing this than with Legends Never Die - prbly cus shes not doing it alone
It's because now she's more used to singing in front of that many people, her fanbase isn't that big yet so concerts are mostly in smaller buildings
She had to sing legends never die infront of 60 thousand people PLUS the 78 million watching the stream..that was her first experience even being infront a large crowd like this
She seemed SO nervous when she did that song live, now she doesn't seem that nervous so nice to see her grow!
