THIS is where we see book Charlotte. The Charlotte who isn't sure of her own success. The Charlotte who knows that happiness is not certain. The Charlotte who is logical and practical and, yes, even cynical.
If you chase after happiness with the idea that "I will only be happy when..." you'll never get it. Because it's as fleeting and fickle as the the wind. Happiness is a choice, not a goal.

Now I realise that that's when charlottes auntie fell sick( the auntie who pays off the bills) and can't pay for her education so she doesn't know what to do
I love how they aren't afraid to let you just sit in the awkward silence, and what a brilliant way to incorporate the "inseparable friends slowly drifting apart" theme of the original. Great writing/directing/acting.

After watching some of the bloopers, I can't stop laughing whenever I watch this video, because one of the bloopers when Lizzie is being Darcy, talking about fine eyes, but in the bloopers she says "the pleasure of a pair of... boobs"

It's the modern version of Charlotte's views on marriage from Chapter 6. 'Happiness in marriage is entirely a matter of chance'. Only here, a job/career is substituted for marriage.

As soon as I finished the book I started watching these & now it's impossible to stop. Try to regulate sleeping schedule for school? Nope, I think I'll just watch lizzie bennet until I fall asleep on my desk.
I finally succumbed to my curiosity and tried watching this...
about 50 minutes later I still can't bring myself to stop.

The book never describes her as ugly, just plain. Which in large part is probably due to being right next to younger and really pretty Jane and Lizzie. Plain does not equal unattractive

Charlotte's pessimistic outlook really reminded me of book Charlotte, I think more than anything else she's said or done. Charlotte needs your love, Lizzie.
''Can't predict Hapiness... too many variables.'' Great line, but still cynical. Hapiness is often a choice more than a chance. Some people have not much and are still super happy (Lydia), and others are rich and successful and still are miserable (Caroline).

This is my favorite episode so far! It felt more natural, and less scripted. And I like it when you girls are yourselves and not pretending to be other people. I've found that confusing in the past :P Maybe I'm just daft.
Also, great ending.
Took me a while to place when in the novel this was. At first I was thinking Charlotte was secretly courting Collins, but timeline-wise that didn't make sense.
