For Ghaz'an, you can pull him along the pipe, facing the wall of the hallway you just cleared, which everyone else stays to the side. Of course, you wouldn't be able to do the previously mentioned skip if you choose this strategy.

By far the best heroic tbc guides available; I really wish you covered all 15 of them in game instead of just 4 atm.
9:00 Something of note for my fellow Shamans: Tremor totem doesn't remove the fear, because it's actually a "horrify" effect. Grounding totem, however, redirects the cast so it works like a communal fear ward. I recommend dropping Grounding Totem here, but still be prepared for a few fears going off.
If you're a king you can keep WF, Agi, or SP totems on the ground and drop Grounding just as the cast finishes. Thus keeping buffs on and still negating the fear. This does, however, waste some seconds from your grounding totem CD as it sits unused in your bar.
As a shaman here i never used this tactic, i just kept a keen eye on the fear cast and earthshocked the bastard. The shaman is by far the best interrupter since your ES can have a 6s CD. So as an extra challenge you can try to ES every horrify cast from every wasp. Then again we always did miss a few fears so we safely pulled them back just to be sure.

You pull the hydra to the back wall where he comes up the ramp and then your party just stays where the mobs you killed are. Way easier than fighting on the platform

In the wasp hallway, you can simply hug the wall to the right and skip all the trash. Make sure to jump into the boss room and stay there, to avoid pulling the Underbog Lord : - )

Hehe! I did this heroic many times. It was not my fav by all means, but it was ok because it was quite short with the two common skips. And of course the hunter boss can be skipped too if you just want the heroic medal.
but i never knew all the spells and effecs the mobs had until i saw this video. As a rule of thumb, we always killed healers / casters first, in any group so i dont think those guys managed to get off too many spells, but it is impressive how many spells they know. :D
When i used to play shaman i would always have a mouse-over earthshock macro to be able to interrupt any caster even if he is not the target.
Last time i went through a TBC playthrough i was a orc hunter and i used my pet to interrupt, but the shaman is KING in these 2 SS dungeons as he has that disease cleansing totem, grounding totem to cancel spells and the quick interrupt to make casters drop their cookies. Man i just love the shaman class so much because of all the support systems it has, even as a DPS shaman.

I went to Underbog for the first time as a young tank. Those shroom men packs at the entrance wiped the floor with me.
U can also Shapeshift the 5 stacked disease dot away from the big trash mobs

I really think it's just so much easier to pull Ghaz'an to the wall at the end of the pipe that you'd walk on to get to his platform and have everyone wait on the walkway before it... it very much eliminates any kind of jank shit from happening

1st boss uses a channeled healing that for some reason is magic. This means you can dispell it with a priest or shaman :)
3:30- A hunter or other speedy class can kite the second giant and feign death when the party finishes killing the first giant.
Ok interesting, in german the last boss is called The Shadow Mother. Strange name change, maybe because the quest associated with it is called "Kill the Stalker" and there is not a possible translation for the word Stalker?
In Russian it's Shadow Huntress, so it's also feminine

Probably whenever those patreon numbers start running low again. That's how it usually works with madseason. I dont think anyone actually believed this weekly heroic guide videos thing was going to last. Madseason is just too lazy and selfish to keep a consistent schedule with his videos. He leaves his fans hanging and only puts in the effort to make a video when pressured.

@@Arrowshift He is not completely wrong tho. MadSeason has started more "series" then i can count, and just leave them forever incomplete. He started doing a series on the evolution of WoW years ago, xpac by xpac, and just made vanilla and tbc, regardless of them being very succesful. Time Warp series? Quest Log (only 3 videos and iss all about 1 quest line)? Azeroth Arsenal? Vanilla patch by patch series? They all abandoned.

I would really enjoy a video like this except you narrated from the perspective of the mobs/bosses in the dungeon and talked about how to defeat the adventures. Funny writing + deadpan/straight delivery from Madseason would make it funny.

IDK man I was so hyped for BC. Now I am 70, did Kara and the Heroics still feel a bit weak. I mean I am still wearing T3 for most parts. I kinda expected more of it.

Calling Underbog a medium difficulty heroic is not really the right way of presenting it. While the dungeon isn't a TOTAL pushover, there really are no easier heroics than this.
