I am an addict. Been clean and sober for 8 years. I have relapsed with the alcohol… by the second shot I hate myself and actually ask for plan soda or coffee…. I am a big girl (adult) and I can say what triggered me but I wont blame that situation because I am an adult and made/make my own decisions. Losing someone who is ur twin sibling and only sibling is absolutely rough. Especially when that sister was the only one who actually cared about me… my grandparents did thats different my grandparents had already passed…. I hope all goes well with your person and they finally go in the right path.. absolutely love you’re music

Those who are heavy in an addiction don't love being driven by a substance for whatever reason and that doesn't mean they don't love Those around them but maybe Those around them could love them a little more. The expectation placed on those substance dependent people makes the need to do the substance worse. Understanding, compassion, acceptance, support. It's not always about how you feel when no one is fucked up on the floor because they thought it was a good idea at the time.
