For the nameless mermaid I was thinking something upbeat and peppy because of her bright color scheme, like Piper or Mia or Leah. Something exotic might work, too, because of her neon tail. Like Star or Echo. Or you could go with a shade of yellow like Canary or Daffodil.

I love watching sketchbook videos, but it always reminds me of my permanent art block. I've been in a constant rut of just drawing faces for literally years. It's not that I can't draw bodies. It's more that I can never think of a pose or situation to draw. And even the very rare occasion that I DO draw a body, it's boring without any kind of interesting pose or camera angle.
Like, my brain decided an imagination is overrated.
I'd love to try watercoler honestly, but good watercolors and brushes are so damn expensive. And I'm not sure I'd want to go through the setup every time I'd wanna sit down and doodle.

OMGOMGOMG! You have the Toy Cinderella Castle too 26:26 !!? So do I!! I adore that thing and it’s still in my mother’s home, pieces are missing and I never got to hear it make a single sound since the one I owned was broken but I still loved it! Had the Emerald City one from Wizard of Oz once too but it was left behind in another state and I never saw it again.
Love your art gurl, throughout the years you’ve just gotten better and better. If I ever had the chance then you would be my first art collab I’d wish for❣️

The magna girl colors are the colors for the trans flag. Still rlly cute though
Magna Girl's pink is more of a Magenta pink. Not the baby pink. But it will probably start baby pink and work its way into more adult colors.

Your journals are all lovely! You can use for the bleed through pages Liquitex gesso to cover up and then you can draw on top or you can use dylusions painting (apply it with a plastic card) for some color on the background. Those inks would be great for cartoons or characters I think. You could draw your sketch on a paper and just glue it with transparent tape or washi tape. That is what I do so I never see any bleed through. If I would keep the messy page I would totally make a cool drawing and doodle flowers or something to take advantage of the messy background. Like embracing the mess as part of your design. I personally like your journals are very natural :)
