Last week i went in Norway to see my girlfriend after a couple of months from the last time.
I was also able to visit the Euronymous grave,the house were Dead kill hymself ,Place were some
legendary pictures were taken etc. All this is visible in this video.
Unfortunately was raining the all day so i wasn't able to film more.

About the house where dead killed himself.. Is not the one in the video! I didn't know where it was so my Norwegian friend (who's into black metal) brought me there but, after a couple of you pointed out that wasn't the right one, I checked on my own and it's true.

@@msb8792 I don't know how it is in norway, but where I live you have to be buried in a cemetery (or have a sea "burial"), your urn isn't allowed to just stand on your fireplace or in the garden or something. But you don't have to be buried near a church/ in a churchyard, there are plenty of other options. I would prefer those anytime over the burial in a churchyard.
I'm shocked that the logo is still under the bridge and also that Norway now embraces Black Metal as their contribution to music considering everything that happened during it's founding.
Money my friend. Money. It can change a tune faster than changing underwear. If we can profit from it somehow, well then by all fucking means, lets squeeze the ever living last penny out of it. I find it to be disingenuous of them, of course, but people, more specifically, groups, do predictable things based on the incentives given, and that incentive in this case, was notoriety and profit.

The Mayhem logo under the bridge is metal as fuck, I hope I can go up there one day and take a picture with it.
Another interesting thing about this video is it really makes you understand black metal is a rural genre. It's obvious now, it was not back in the 90's when those bands appeared.
At this time I had the feeling most of the bands come from big US, german or english cities (or even brazilian...), and make urban music with urban imagery. Urban metal, just like other genres, was the cool thing.
In my town if I spoke about metal everyone was just laughting at me.
And suddenly this genre appeared. It was a revolution, it mainly had to come from rural areas to have this atmosphere, behing the album cover bands members were no more guys posing in the streets of LA, they were posing in their local small town cemetary or forest, it looked like my town, and it looked cool, refreshing, true.
The isolation and atmosphere, they hit in a different way

I am glad you did not cry. We Norwegians are nice people, but we do not jump into relationships (unless they are only for one night), and we can be taken for being cold. We are not; Get a friend in Norway, and you will have a friend for life. And yes, we do have some suicides during a year, mostly men. And I believe it is because we keep it all inside, we cannot take the chance to show weakness, even through speaking to a therapist. I am taking my family to see the Munch exhibition tomorrow (Munch is the motst famous Norwegian painter/artist) and Satyricon (Satyricon is the greatest metal band ever?) at the Munch museum tomorrow. Wow! Great video! I’d only just finished the book The Death Archives: Mayhem 1984-94 by Jorn “Necrobutcher” Stubberud so this was really interesting....you must have felt their spirits in that cold wet landscape!

I visited Quorthon's grave a few years ago during a trip to Sweden, it was quite a feeling.
I am so obsessed with this song...and it's powerful build-up...it's literally perfect for the video...the ending part with visiting Euronymous' grave...it's so perfect and beautiful!! I've literally watched it about 40 times and listened to the song about 2x more than that. It gives me goosebumps every time. I'm only recently getting into black metal...and it's only because of Mayhem. The movie caused an instant obsession and I've extensively researched them and their story! It's impact on me has been life changing! They could have gone on to rule the scene for decades...if things went very differently! Damnit Varg!! But I understand why he did it...he felt there was no other option...he wanted to be #1. I'm forever a different person because of them and I hope to hear more beautiful and brutal music from you!!! Varg didn't want to be number 1. I don't know what that crappy movie states, but Euronymous had intentions to bind, torture, and kill Varg, all while filming it. Varg made a preemptive strike that night, because he thought Oystein was reaching for a shotgun or knife.

I just found this channel. I see you're a Black Metal musician, any advice for people who wanna start playing?
Play alone and don't waste your time with others. They'll mighty loose interest in music with time and you'll probably have to start everything again and again. Don't listen anyone and do what you like and don't follow the trends. For others stuff like how to compose a song etc i have a video about it, is one the last that I uploaded.
