- Moving from the UK to Canada wasn't hard for me, and there are many reasons why. Don't get me wrong; making that decision took a lot of work, and my partner and I weighed it all up multiple times, but overall, it was the obvious choice.

How is the cost of living in CA compared to UK? Rent, food, bills, etc?

😂 Well, it would be highly personal for everyone, but for me for example, coming from the UK, I notice that government things like taxes and getting a new passport is much simpler in the UK, so it's an adjustment doing those things in Canada. Or as I said, the UK has a big drinking culture and that's 'crap' we weren't willing to put up with.
How hard was it to find jobs?
Well, when I first came to Canada (2 year work visa) I had interviews lined up before I was even in the country, and I got my dream job (at the time) as soon as I landed. That was back in 2018, though. When I came back last year, I'd had my own freelance business for 2 years so I have no idea what the job market is like now.

@@josephhassall8523 no problem 😊 it's high here too! In 2018 a 2 bedroom apartment in Toronto cost me $1800. Now, 2 bedrooms are pushing $3000, usually more. Certain things are generally more expensive in Canada too, like car insurance. But, when I was employed here, I felt there was more opportunity to earn a higher wage. But a lot has changed since then.
Feedback : I watched this expecting to find out about the reasons why you thought canada wasn't a hard decision. All I took away, after 15 minutes is that your husband has more family there, and the drinking culture/sports stuff. All the other reasons were wrapped in mysterious ambiguity. Your responses I see to some people in the comments should be in the video, not the comments section.

There's definitely a bigger culture difference between Poland and Canada - I'm sure I'd have found it harder if that was the case for me.
We are in a global village I would find it hard by moving to Algeria or smt not to a western country maybe because I traveled a lot.
