- Here is my brother grandmaster Mr. Greg Hutchinson playing a set of Alexinos at Porgy and Bess in Vienna.
Due logistic complications Greg's personal cymbals disappeared at the airport, so I was blessed to bring him over some for the gig.
20"Elvin Ride (2105 gr., 8 rivets)
20" Old Stamp sKy Ride (2057 gr, higher pitched)
14" Alexino Old Stamp sKy Hi Hats (T 805 gr, B 890 gr)
18" Alexino Old Stamp sKy Thin Crash Ride with 4 rivets (unlathed, full turk, 1259 gr)
These were played as a result of my cymbals not showing up and my brother was kin enough to bring his down
Damn, have you got your cymbals back yet?
They probably ended up on the black market like the Orson Wells movie "Third Man"

old school yamaha, remember setting up for you for like 10-15 years ago in copenhagen with dianne reeves. For me Yamaha is your real sound, that was the drums i heard you play for the first time as a relatively little kid

Greg switched from Sakae to Yamaha to mapex to pearl. I think his message is: It's not the drum it's the drummer that matter.. ;)

@@8020drummer ahah.. interesting question dear awesome drummer, actually us european can't buy sakae drum. But it's okay since WE have the mapex Saturn évolution (Maple/walnut) disponible. What a fantastic drum !!

@@8020drummer Sakae only makes the model called "evolved" kit now. It seems to be a maple version of their old 'birch sakae almighty version' if i'm correct.
