    "Vila do Biribiri
Part of the Biribiri State Park, Vila do Biribiri is a small community reminiscent of the late 19th century, while the site was a large textile industry factory. With the closure of the factory, the village was abandoned, but some residents remained. Part of the area was sold and some houses were purchased by residents who only come here on weekends. There are few families living there every day, which makes the village even more bucolic and unusual.
Amidst the houses painted white and blue, with the view of Serra do Espinhaço in the background, visitors can enjoy hours of tranquility and inland climate. Everything washed down with lots of Minas Gerais food, the traditional kind and prepared on a wood stove. In Vila do Biribiri, there are two restaurants, Raimundo sem Braço (self-service and à la carte) and Restaurante do Adilson (self-service). Food is served under the shade of trees, amidst the village view. It is worth mentioning that in the same park as Vila do Biribiri there are also Cachoeira da Sentinela and Cachoeira dos Cristais. Take a bath in the waterfall and enjoy lunch in Vila Do Biribiri. It's a great choice for a full day trip. " - guia.melhoresdestinos.com.br/...
