What a blessing Hon. Amelia had to be this honesty, you can read the reality in her conversation, let's pray for our generation that has morally decayed. We may need change but change to indifferent and un tamable is recipe of evil
I liked her interview, she has a good sense of humor, empathetic, and seems to be an honest person. I can never forget her message when she lost the elections to Hilderman; she conceded defeat and really understood why she lost. It takes a person with wisdom to concede the way she did. However, she is a bit stuck in the past. The country has to progress. I think the old generation misses a point; the biggest population of Uganda is under 35 years, and conversations about wars and insecurity they faced just can't solve the current challenges. It is a new set of challenges that need different solutions, i.e address the high level of unemployment, fight the high levels of corruption, address the issue of nepotism especially in the government public sectors, etc. We just can't keep talking about peace which currently is getting threatened with high levels of kidnaps and murders. An angry and hungry population is the precursor to insecurity. The same problems faced today partly contributed to the insecurity/wars that the old generation had to endure.
