That is exactly what I thought! There’s no way he would’ve shaken his hand at that point. No player would…unless they’d just scored the first maximum break of their career, or some other extraordinary event.
I used to think that kicks were just excuses until I played an extreme cutback shot and the object ball followed the path of the cueball, It was the weirdest thing I have ever experienced on a snooker table.
Ronnie preferring the fist bump instead of the handshake reminded me of YES’ genius guitarist Steve Howe, he never shakes anyone’s hand for the same reason Ronnie gave…one too many heavy handed handshakes and your career is over. Your hands contain some of the smallest bones in your body and can easily be damaged by someone squeezing too hard.
