This is the video where I first discovered the awesomeness of Whip. It's so hard to watch this now that she's no longer with us. Eight years doesn't seem so long ago, but for her, it was a lifetime. For those of us who followed her on IG and watched her fight her ass off for her life, she was so much more that a cutie with the coolest hair.

Im 44 and finally got a pixie. I started to hate it bc i felt like it was just turning into old mom short style..you've given me hope! I can't wait to get some new products and really rock this cut!

I absolutely love your channel! It was your videos that gave me the push I needed to get my pixie and I don't regret it for one minute. I was convinced that my stylist would try and talk me out of it (as has happened in the past) but I took in photos and explained what I liked in particular about each one and she was really enthusiastic about it and didn't once say I shouldn't get it cut short because I have a round/fatter face. Now I actually have a neck and cheekbones, so thank you for being such an inspiration! Now it's just learning how to style my pixie :-)

This was actually super helpful... I have only ever had obnoxiously long hair all my life, and I finally decided that I wanted to go really short... I had no idea where to even start in attempting to style my pixie cut... thank you for some super good advice!

Hello Whippy, I am so thrilled I found your channel! I totally LOVE the pixie style cut I recently had a haircut ( I also have short hair) I had the stylist cut my sides off what a mistake :( I will be bringing her a picture of the pixie you have and I will be asking her to do the cut like yours next time. Thank you for being so honest about things, it is refreshing. One side note could you please tell me what are your eyeshadows you use, I am watching your part 2 video on how you style your hair and I am in love with the eyeshadow color you are wearing. Thanks for your time on you tube I truely appreciate it.
There are so many great hair products out there now that I'm not "in the know" on! I've seen Bed Head products for over a decade, but I've never bought any. My hair now is almost exactly like yours. I'm 40. We older folks need to learn about the new generation of products. My hair is very fine and this pixie cut is great for me, too. I have discovered dry shampoo! I really like using it. It helps me give it more "ump" and body, even when it's not dirty. I would like to try some newer, fancier products but they're too $$$ to take a guess at when deciding what to buy! Oh and I, too, like the color of your room with the white trim! That shade of pink looks great against the contrasting white. This is the 1st time I've ever even thought to look up a hair video! You're doing a great thing! I thought your hair style was actually complete here, before you began using the flat iron in the back!

Tamie Price My favorite product to use on next day hair to add shine is Bed Head's "Spoil Me" bit.ly/1Fh28YD Just make sure to avoid the root area. It really helps to smooth any crazy bedhead. My favorite serum that I use to help with dryness is Naissant's "Argan Oil Elixir" bit.ly/1KKBE3g. It has been so great on my processed hair. Let me know what you think if you try it. Thanks!
