I live at Alexan Junction. We moved there in Aug 2023 and got lucky to get a 4th floor unit with a view of Downtown. We really wanted the 5th floor but they were all leased. After being there for several months I will say the noise from Studemont and the trains coming through is bothersome but I’ve gotten use to it. I def love having my shades up all day and night bc of the downtown view. Our other issue is that you can hear your neighbor walking and it is loud. You can’t hear anything else just their walking. I’m light footed but I wonder what my sister and I sound like to the person below us. Other than that I can’t hear anything from the neighbor next door or above me.
Thank you for this comment. Alexan junction was one of my favorites during this apartment hunt. I do see how the noise could be the issue because of location. I also agree I wanted 5th floor if I were to move in. All and all I hope you’re loving it. ☺️

Why are the apartments in Nashville more expensive than Houston 🥲 & I’ll be moving there in less than a month to start at a Level 4 NICU!! I’m super nervous because I’ll be moving on my own & I currently work with adults but NICU has always been my dream before nursing school but I’m so excited to start my new journey!!

I wanted to move to Houston Texas . Do u know what are the living cost in there .
My personal opinion is that things are getting more expensive. I don't know where you live now and can only compare it to Wisconsin. I feel as though I get paid more here and there is no state tax on your checks so that's good. I also think it just depends on how you want to live and live within your means. Hope this helps. 🙂
